Interviewed Dec 2009 in Newton, MA (took 4+ weeks)
I applied to San Jose, CA position online. Then an HR person representing the Newton, MA office contacted me, which was win-win because I live in Boston and I had contacts also working for or with the Newton office. After a phone interview with two managers, I came in to the office, gave a presentation of my past work, and then had video-conference based interviews with five people.
Everyone sounded interested in my work, and we had a good series of back-and-forth discussions about the current technology used at Adobe and what sort of changes might be made in the future.
It was not a cake-walk of an interview (e.g. I did have to prepare a presentation), but I felt like I was engaging a set of peers, rather than talking to people attempting to intimidate me or prove that they were smarter than I am.

Interviewed Dec 2008 (took 4+ weeks)
Was contacted by recruiter to publicize opening. Ended up applying myself.
Short phone interview with recruiter -- pretty standard HR questions.
Never got the opportunity to talk about my technical expertise, which was a very good fit.
Recruiter simply didn't reply to further contacts, not even to say that someone else (a friend of mine) was hired.

Interviewed Apr 2008 (took a day)
Had 2 phone interviews which were not too technical. People were very nice. Went to San Fransisco for an on site interview. These were very technical and involved coding problems involving recursion and tree traversal as well as others. Looks like a great place to work.

Interviewed Apr 2007 in Bangalore (took 2 days)
The first round of screening was a written test comprising of questions in C, both subjective and Objective. The standard of the test was good.
After a few days , I got a call for the on-site interview. 4 interviews were conducted which lasted for about 3-4 hours. One of them was through video-conferencing. The interviews stressed a lot on data structures and coding, primarily data structures.

Interviewed Jun 2008 (took a day)
The recruiters got my number from LinkedIn and scheduled me for an 1 hour interview with the technical staff.
They asked me a lot of questions about my current job and about software testing in general.
Unfortunately they were looking for a Software Tester and not for a real Software QA. Once this was clear enough, I have told them I am not interested anymore and we agree to stop.

Interviewed Feb 2009 (took 5 days)
Had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Matrix organization with solid line reporting to a local manager and dotted line reporting to a remote manager. Engineering management responsibility for a product and team of 70 expected to grow to 100. About 40% of interviewers seemed innovative and looking for fresh ideas; others seemed to emphasize a conservative approach. Interviewers were either peers or a level up. Interesting that none of the direct reports for the position interviewed me.
