Interviewed Jul 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 3 weeks)
My interview process was not only the most well-organized and detailed interview process I have ever been through, but also one of the most beneficial as well. My interview process consisted of a phone interview, panel interview and then a half day shadow. While the whole process was more intense than I expected, it really makes sure that you understand what the company is all about, if you will fit in within the close-knit office culture and if you actually can and want to do the job.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 2 days)
The hiring and interview process made me realize I have no desire to work for this company. I applied online for the position of an entry level recruiter. They immediately responded via email that they would set up a phone interview and a face to face interview after that. We scheduled an interview for the following day. I was at my phone at the time we agreed upon, but the phone call went straight to voice mail. I immediately called back. The interviewer asked if I had screened her call, and wasn't happy I hadn't picked up when she placed the call. After explaining my phone never rang, we continued with the interview. It was basic questions - tell me about yourself, an obstacle you have overcome, etc. She was pleasant through these questions until she asked about my expected salary. The basic recruiter salary was 33k plus commissions. I asked what her top entry level recruiters made, and that I expected to be in that range. She would not give me this information, and demanded I give her a figure. I told her that I expected to work hard, be a top performer and earn good commissions - but was not comfortable giving her an exact number without more information. She was not happy with this answer and told me she was not trying to "low-ball" me but that she needed to know my expected salary. I told her that I was not trying to offend her with my answer, but she kept pressing for a number. I told her I didn't mind working long hours and did not have a set salary - I just wanted to contribute to a company and feel proud to work there. She said I still did not answer her question, and then she said I guess we will have to move on. I will not follow up with the face-to-face interview if offered. For me, her poor attitude affected how I viewed the company and the people I would be working with. No, thank you.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
They interviewed in a very unenthusiastic manner. It seemed as though they themselves didn't enjoy the job. Then they didn't offer me the position. After asking for feedback, they told me I needed more energy. It was ridiculous. Any more energy would've come off really fake.
My advice: Be excited to be there. Ensure that you use the STAR method and give plenty of details for behavioral questions. Be money-driven.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 2 weeks)
The first interview was really great. The interviewers made you feel very comfortable and like the company would be a great place to work. The 2nd office interview was with hiring managers, that seemed very cold and distant. They seemed very disinterested from the beginning and just made it feel a bit awkward. After I was turned down and I asked for feedback on my interview, they would not provide any, even though they said they would.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Miami Lakes, FL (took 3 weeks)
My experience with Aerotek began when recruiters in the area came to recruite (obviously) at my University. I set up an interview witht them and then began the long process. I interviewed with two men on my campus for the first interview. They asked generic questions such as "what motivates you", "tell me a time where you failed at something", "how would handle a situation where...", "tell me about yourself", etc.
They also had me try to set up an imaginary sales call with an account where one of the interviewers played the potential buyer. I definitely did not expect that at all. They just wanted to make sure I could work under pressure. Make sure to set up a time with the buyer, using the two date option: Next monday at 3 or this Friday at 11. The entire interview lasted for about 45mins to 1 hr.
The first interview was set up by someone in HR. I sent a thank you email to both of the men who interviewed me and the woman who set up the interview.
Afterwards, I had to set up a phone interview with the woman for HR. I thought it was a little out of order that the phone interview was done second. She basically asked the same questions. It lasted for 30-45 minutes. Then she asked if I'd be able to interview at the Miami office. I said yes because I would be down there for spring break. They do not make accomodations for you to interview at the location where you want to work.
The office interview was shorter than the other interviews. The man I interviewed with was very nice and asked the same types of questions. They're very big on company culture. If you don't fit in, they won't hire you.
After the interview with th office, I was supposed to set up a day to shadow at the office. However, I took an offer with another company. However, Aerotek was my second choice. Everyone was very friendly and genuinely want you to succeed.
