Interviewed Apr 2012 in Philadelphia, PA (took 2 weeks)
Applied for position online 3/23/2012. Face to face interview with hiring manager and 1 other co worker on 4/17. The interview went excellent! I thought I was going to recieve a call within a day or two. Best interview I ever had. They both seemed impressed and with my attitude and qualifications. It's been two weeks to the day and I haven't heard anything yet! The positon is still posted... Guess the interview didnt go as well as I thought...

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Newark, DE (took 6 weeks)
I have interviewed for an RN case manager position with Aetna three times. I am currently employed and have been with the same employer for over five years now. I have a very impressive resume and usually get any job I want. To be called to the same place three times says something about my experience as far as recruiters in HR goes. My second interview with aetna I had a phone interview before being called for a face to face. Two of the three interviews were with two managers. One of the managers I recognized from a prior interview. I am not sure of the problem I am having at this particular office but in my opinion I think I may not be the right "fit" for them at that office. I know people will say maybe they didn't like me or that I din't give a good interview but I can assure you that was not the case. I have all the qualifications for that job plus more and it was stated that I would be a good fit for the job. That being said I still received the rejection email weeks later. I found out through some associates that a woman I went to school with got hired at Aetna on her first interview and she has NO hospital or case management experience. I don't know what else to think but I guess I'm done for now trying to work for Aetna. Each time the interviewers tell me it's all in HR's hands and they have nothing to do with the process from here but what happens next? The last time I interviewed 12/16/11 they were hiring 35 new case managers for a new Medicare project. They told me they wanted to get the ball rolling fairly quickly so everyone could start by Feb 6th. I never got an email so I thought I was in but the Feb 6th deadline was approching and I hadn't received anything from HR. Jan 16 (a month later) I called one of the managers that I interviewed with and she said they were getting together that Friday to make their decisions and she appologized for the delay. The next week on Jan 27th I got the dreaded rejection email. LOL!! I just say everything happens for a reason. Right? Maybe there will be a better opportunity at a better company.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Blue Bell, PA (took 1 week)
I completed my application online June 29th. June 30th I had a "voice test" where they call you and ask you a view questions and schedule a phone interview. My phone interview ended up being Saturday July 2nd. Phone interview lasted maybe 15mins or less. I was asked questions about past employers. Why did i leave? What brings me to Aetna? I was asked questions regarding past work experiences. After the questioning was complete I was placed on hold for 2 or 3 minutes. When the interviewer came back on the line, she told me based on my answers to the questions asked she would like to schedule me for a F2F interview. I had my F2F interview Wednesday July 6th. During the F2F I was asked basically the same questions from the phone interview. At the end of the questioning I was asked if I had questions. I had a few great questions. The interview ended. I was handed a sheet of paper with what happens next outlined. I was told that within 48hrs i would get a response. The night of my F2F interview I recieved an email from Aetna with a link to fill out an application. I had 24 hrs to complete the application. Friday July 8th I recieved a call offering me the position I had applied for.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Blue Bell, PA (took 2 days)
Phone interview in late afternoon, asked to come in for face to face interview the next day (only option). Interviewed by two people. Basically one person asked questions the other person wrote my answers. I should have had more questions for them and studied more online about the job that I was interviewing for.
