It was first a Phone interview and mostly consisted of my previous work and then a presentation at the facility of my previous work. It took 2 months for their decision.

After twelve in person interviews taking over eight unpaid hours, they decided that I should have two more phone interviews. Then rather than getting offered a permanent position suddenly the opportunity turned into a contracting position (the biggest red flag ever) . After providing even further references while they worked out the paperwork. I worked two weeks, well over sixteen hours a day, to be told they weren't ready to commit to me? In retrospect, I saw problems from the start, I should of passed.

I heard about an algorithm position via an employee referral, which was based in their Emeryville site. I didn't hear a word for a month, then suddenly I get a phone call out of the blue to arrange a phone interview with the manager.
He called up 10 minutes late (never a good sign). I had a relatively easy interview, no difficult questions per se. Time was running out and I wanted to ask him some questions about the job, but he cut me off abruptly and hung up. I didn't really care whether or not they wanted me to come in for a 1:1 interview. I would've declined anyways.
