Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 days)
First they bring u in with other interviewees and have a presentation of the company. Then they schedule individual interviews in the coming days. In the individual interview they try to sale you the company ( benefits, potential salary, etc). It isn't a bad company but I think the fact that they try to sell you the company, as oppose to you selling yourself to the company, made me feel that they would higher anybody who would accept. If you don't have any financial obligations and don't care if one week you make $1000 and the next you make nothing then I would say give it a shot, but if you are looking for a more reliable, fixed income then this job isn't for you.

Interviewed May 2011 (took a day)
Instead of having to sell myself for a job as i walked in expecting to do. The man i interviewed with had a little spiel that he obviously gave to all interviewees in which he tried to convince me that i should work at Aflac without even asking about my credentials.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 2 days)
I received an invitation to interview with Aflac and the initial meeting took place in a conference room along with about 25 other prospective candidates. The Aflac rep spoke for about 30 minutes and gave us some basics about the company and what we would be selling. He didn't take questions, but those of us who were interested were invited to set up a one-on-one meeting with him. That took place one week later and involved a 30-minute conversation that included more details about the nature of the job. The interviewer didn't ask many questions about my professional experience. The most important information he wanted from me was whether I had any felonies on my record. We set up a time for me to interview with the regional manager, but after researching Aflac, I realized I would not be a good fit so I cancelled the meeting.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Madison, WI (took a day)
Expect a lot of sales-talk. Aflac doesn't really interview, they simply try and get you pumped about the job. They really try and find out if you have any good leads before you start employment. For example, if you have a friend who owns a pumbing company, or your dad is a General Manager of an auto dealership. They figure if you can get this first account, it will push you through the first few months of training until you get on your feet. If you ever get on your feet...

Interviewed May 2011 in Irvine, CA (took a day)
Very unorganized experience. They wrote me in for the wrong time, so when I came in they thought I was coming in an hour earlier. Needless to say, they weren't very prepared and probably hadn't reviewed my application much. Regardless, I felt like they had already decided to hire me before I came in the door. I think that is their strategy; they just hire a lot of people and see who sinks or swims.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Since they probably hire in bulk, I figured I wouldn't be very valued as an employee. Also, they want you to pay $125 rent a month to use their office (on a commissions only paycheck).

The interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 1 week)
Originally made contact at a career fair on campus. Interviewed 1 on 1 the next day with the regional manager. Received a call back later that week asking to meet again in person. Received a job offer over the phone a few days later and met again with regional and direct supervisor to be. Accepted today and start in December.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 1 week)
I initially met with Aflac at a very small job fair. I spent maybe a minute talking with the company representative, handed her my resume, and expected nothing to come from it , as she had little to say about the positions available. I later received a callback at the end of the day, inviting me in for an interview.
This was a typical first round interview, where the hiring manager asked about my knowledge of Aflac, the typical sales process, and various 'what-are-your-strengths' questions. However, Aflac's initial job listing at failed to specify that the position was entirely commission-based, which made for a rather awkward interview. (I had no intentions of applying for a position as a commission-based employee!)

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Bel Air, MD (took 5 days)
A simple group interview to start, then followed by a one-on-one interview with a manager. They speak of all these different "positions" but it's really just setting appointments with business owners and sales.

They wrote me an email inviting me to come to their office for an interview. When I came in they showed a video to a group. They seemed very desperate And I was not interested in that.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 1 week)
We had a 1st interview as a group with the office manager and he went on and on for about an hour talking about Aflac products. This kind of turn me off since I was there ready for a real interview and not to listen to a sale spill. The second interview was with the recruiter and this was also pretty easy it seems to me that they will hire anyone that meets minimum requirement.
