Applied through online profile creation for a specific job. Received a call 2wks later regarding the position. HR recruiter arranged for a call back time. Upon call back, we discussed my background and some details of the job.
After the conversation, the next day I indicated that the position was not of interest to me and declined to proceed.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 3 weeks)
1 Phone interview by the hiring/team manager followed by
7 onsite interviews.
Phone intvw consisted of basic networking knowledge, scripting skills(how can you find a pattern like a ip address in a router table file) and general questions on interest for position.
On site was very casual atmosphere , friendly people and extensive grilling on lower level network protocols.
Only one coding question to reverse a linked list. Rest Complete theory.
They flew me in to calif and took care of stay and reimbursed ground transportation.
Funny thing was I paid for my lunch interview(beats me!) in the nearby subway.
Overall a positive experience. Focus should be on lower level network protocol theory was the impression that I got.

Got a call from recruiter. Presented my resume. Got a call back after a week that resume is selected and would like to screen on phone as a 1st round. Cleared first round mostly questions asked about past experience (achivements, etc). then personal round of interview, first round with a manager he grilled on the software architecture, how would you design a system, etc. etc. then another detailed round on C++, unix

The company came to my college for recruitment. There was a written test, on the basis of which 10 guys get shortlisted. The test was of 3 hrs duration. Then it was 3 rounds of technical interview. After the interview they finally selected 2 students.

Since my interview took place around vacation time it took a long time from the actual interview to the offer. The interview was pretty simple for me since my background was perfectly matching the requirement they had. One thing I liked was the interviewers probed the understanding and thinking ability rather than specific answers. They were more interested in how we arrive at the answer.

Initially a placement agency called up and scheduled an interview with the HR of the Employer. Then the HR person redirected to a technical person. The technical person was very good at interviewing me and he was casual. I mean he was friendly in conducting the interview. The Technical discussion went on for about half hour. Finally the interviewer was impressed and asked HR to consider me for the Job description they interviewed for. Finally HR after a week's time called me for HR discussion and gave me offer letter.

The interview process included a few technical interview on the phone followed by some other additional personality interviews and then a few in person interviews. Comparing this process to some other interviews I've had they didn't seem to be too technical or detail. overall, it was an easy process.
