Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 5 days)
I was recommended by a friend who works for the company. I submitted by resume and was called by the hiring manager for an interview, It consisted of details of previous work experiences and skills acquired during those periods. I then interviewed with a developer working under the hiring manager. This consisted of more technical questions (programming type questions). They were very friendly and professional. There was a relaxed atmosphere in the office which tipped the scale for me when I was offered the position.

First, there is a phone interview, which is a chat about the company and your previous experience. Then there is a programming task to write at home. The programming task is mostly about data structure and algorithm design. Finally they invite you on-site. You then have a number of interviews with some technical and non-technical people. They ask you to talk about your solution to the programming problem. They also ask a number of technical questions about: data structure and algorithm design, C++ semantics, thread synchronisation.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Plano, TX (took 4 weeks)
There is absolutely no structure to interviews. Typically you get interview call if you have internal referral. From there on its purely general questions on what you worked on in your past projects. Questions are purely based on what is written on your resume. You will be interviewed by hiring manager and some team members. HR interviews are vague too. Tailor your resume to the position and unless you are 110% fit for the job there will be more internal referrals that will beat you out.

Negotiation Details

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Bangalore (India) (took 4+ weeks)
Since my interview took place around vacation time it took a long time from the actual interview to the offer. The interview was pretty simple for me since my background was perfectly matching the requirement they had. One thing I liked was the interviewers probed the understanding and thinking ability rather than specific answers. They were more interested in how we arrive at the answer.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Chennai (India) (took 1+ week)
Initially a placement agency called up and scheduled an interview with the HR of the Employer. Then the HR person redirected to a technical person. The technical person was very good at interviewing me and he was casual. I mean he was friendly in conducting the interview. The Technical discussion went on for about half hour. Finally the interviewer was impressed and asked HR to consider me for the Job description they interviewed for. Finally HR after a week's time called me for HR discussion and gave me offer letter.
