The second session was about design pattern, I was asked to design a Texas Hold Em poker game. The last session was with the hiring manager, he asked a lot of questions about Alcatel.

I interviewed at Alcatel-Lucent in August 2009.
Interview Details – About a week after phone interview, I got face to face to face interview chance. 3 interviewers are involved. Firstly, I'm required to do a presentation on some project I ever worked before via PPT. The presentation lasted about half an hour and I'm interrupted several times to answer presentation related questions. Secondly, after the presentation is done, interviewers asked questions about linux IPC/TCP/IP/c++/DB. Finally, they also asked some telecom related questions like SS7 and introduced the job position and their product. From my feeling, most questions are not tough, but the presentation must be well prepared and introduced clearly. Also, english is important, about 2/3 of whole interview is with english
Interview Question – 1.Difference between some ways of linux IPC
