Business Analyst Interview
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Alcoa in July 2015.
I interviewed over the phone with Teri Fujii who was by far the worst interviewer I've ever spoken with. She didn't seem to understand nor comprehend ANYTHING I said. I feel that I'm a fairly well spoken, intelligent individual. However she somehow didn't feel my answers were relevant her questions. It was almost as if there was some sort of language or cultural barrier. She rudely ended the interview, and never followed up via phone nor email. I wouldn't place the blame on the company, I'm sure they're excellent at what they do. I just hope Teri's interviews don't always go as poorly as mine was, maybe she was just having one of those days.

I interviewed at Alcoa (Torrance, CA) in June 2012.
Very typical interview in June 2012 in office for Alcoa Fastening Systems for a business analyst internship. Typical behavioral questions, manager asks what your greatest weaknesses and strengths are, you have a basic knowledge of what the company does, what you are looking to do in the future. The company is searching for motivated individuals who are proactive in taking on tasks since management is usually very busy. They are just interested to see if you are a good fit for the company and if what you want to do in future is in line with the kind of business Alcoa Fastening System runs.
- Why are you qualified for this job? Answer Question

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Alcoa (New York, NY) in November 2011.
I met individuals from a range of leadership positions with a range of years with Alcoa. This was a second round interview. Everyone I met was very positive and provided helpful information. All interviews were very short. It appeared that they where scoring these short conversations to be used to determine who to extend an offer to.
