Contacted by a recruiter regarding this Systems Admin position. He told me it was a long term contract rather than a full time position. I wasn't interested in a contract but he sold me on the company and position and suggested that I do a phone interview and see what I think. Phone interview was arranged 2 days later and I only had about an hour notice. I was a bit nervous but did well enough to get invited to onsite interview 2 days later. The onsite interview was a group interview with the hiring manager and 3 members of his team. Onsite interview went great and it was very obvious that they like me. In total the phone interview was 10-15 minutes long and the onsite interview about 2 hours. One week later my recruiter notified me that I didn't get the job as the position was offered to someone else. I was unable to get further feedback as the other candidate was from a different recruiter.
