Interviewed Dec 2011 in Minneapolis, MN (took 1+ week)
There were a lot of behavioral questions. Some of the ones that stumped me were: describe a time when you changed a process. How would you describe a perfect boss?

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Golden Valley, MN (took 2 weeks)
Asked mainly behavioral questions - about myself and how I handle different situations, as well as some of my past experiences. Additionally, I got a lot of the questions such as "why do you want to be an actuary", "what do you know about our company", "why do you choose life insurance", etc.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Minneapolis, MN (took a day)
Spoke with a few actuaries at an on site information session, and was given an on campus interview. Interview was conducted by two actuaries, one FSA and one ASA. They mostly asked standard questions:
Let us about yourself? Why do you want to be an actuary? Why life vs P&C? Both interviewers were polite and personable.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Minneapolis, MN (took 2+ weeks)
My HR rep was unprofessional in the extreme. Has not done a single thing they said they were going to do. If you aren't going to do it, save your breath and don't lie. I have no idea how they still have a job. Was late to 3+ calls, cut short the time and said they would call back. Didn't call when they said they would, but called three days later to reschedule. Finally got to the call, and they didn't remember a single word I'd told them even though they were taking notes. Rushed through those calls. Not surprising that no feedback was offered given the size of the company but they couldn't put 2+2 together anyway.
Culture is on the rise, company seems to be focused and moving in the right direction. The real challenge is going to be the field force- can they get the agent's confidence back. If they can, they'll hit it out of the park. Downside is that lower senior management can't admit to the C-suite that the sales challenge is because they have no field credibility and are almost impossible to deal with. Trust is in short supply, so sales come and go like the wind whenever a viable alternative exists elsewhere.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Minneapolis, MN (took 3 weeks)
I interviewed with three different people in a one-on-one setting with each person. Overall the interview process was pretty straight forward. The questions included inquiries of examples where you faced adversity and similar type questions. They also asked about career path, etc. The office building was nice and in a nice location.
