Interviewed Sep 2010 in Northbrook, IL (took 5 days)
I had met with an HR person at a career fair. I submit my resume through an email. There were 5 or 6 of us being interviewed on the day they were at campus. There was initially one interview, and then if they like me, they would set up a time later.
As far as the interview was concerned: The wait wasn't too bad. We talked about my experiences of teamwork, how I handled people who I disagreed with at other jobs, and how I decided I wanted to be an Actuary. The interviewer was polite. The only thing that was a little different was the test I was given. I was given a problem and asked to work through it out loud. It was a brain teaser. They wanted to see how I think. It was actually very interesting, and that was the first time I had an interview of that kind.
Overall it was a decent interview. Just know yourself and what you want out of the internship when you interview.
