Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 1 week)
Had phone interview, expecting "typical" interview questions, these for me were not. You are required to own an Xbox (which I do) but are also expected to know all about the xbox site, well I never visit the site, so if you do plan on interviewing for this get familiar with the Xbox site at minimum.
I was also told "see right now I have 21 windows open" well I thought ok, that's good you know what you are going to ask me, have the window already open with the information.. right?
The interviewer was VERY nice, however I think it should have been stated that it would be a "test/Role Play" interview so you would be better prepared.
I was also not aware this was for Xbox, otherwise I would have familiarized myself during the week wait time for the actual interview.
I currently support 100 users in computer tech support, networks, etc. but still managed not to make it past the 1st interview unfortunatley.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 days)
The Interview process was fine but once I was hired and paid $45 for the background check and invested in a headset, pc and monitor the "training" started. The training was for about 4 weeks at minimum wage and was AWFUL. If you don't have Xbox experience and don't know much about hardware DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY.
The tests are designed to trick you and the trainer doesn't prepare you for them. The trainer wasted most of the class time chatting with students about irrelevant things like how other customer support centers were so hard and what games the students played. She should have been reviewing for the tests.
I WAS HIRED and was supposed to be TRAINED to do the job and I wasn't. A WASTE OF TIME unless you know alot about Xbox.

There are a lot of questions whether or not this company is a scam, but they are very upfront about the requirements you need to be able to perform your duties (i.e. headset, PC specs, etc.) and you are considered an employee not a contractor which is an important distinction. They have a "zero tolerance" noise policy which is understandable. There is a lengthy online application process as well as an online classroom that is very helpful in understanding the company philosophy and the aspects of the job. Make sure you have time to devote to this before starting the process. Also be aware that the "flexible" schedules advertised in the job announcements are not set by you but are pre-determined and you tell them yes or no you can work those hours during the interview process.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The hours were described as "part-time" and "flexible" but the hours I needed were not available when it came down to scheduling a shift.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 1+ week)
The hiring process can be long with this company. It begins with an online application followed a series of emails. It can be difficult to follow up with the company during this stage and you just have to have patience. If they are interested they will email and set up an interview.

I applied online and was contacted about a week later to complete a phone interview. I was accepted into the company then and waited about 2 weeks to be offered a position within the company. When I got that position I had to do the background check and the drug test.
