Territory Sales Manager at Altira

No Offer – Reviewed Mar 21, 2013

Interview Details – I applied online and received a phone call a few days later asking to come in for a one on one interview with 2 area managers. That interview went very well and I received a phone call the next day asking if I could meet for another interview with two other people. The questions asked in this interview were a little bit trickier and did not go as well as the first. No offer.

Interview Question – If one of your top customers asked for a large order of product that you know if you sell to him will hit your quota for the year, but you know the product has problems, do you sell to them? Why or why not?   Answer Question

Territory Manager at Altira

No Offer – Reviewed Jul 23, 2012

Interview Details – They were pretty pushy and unwilling to work with your schedule. Intensive phone interview followed by an in person panel interview where they asked you the same questions over again.

Interview Question – They basically asked you a seres of ethical situational questions at the end, and there was no way to answer them without A) Screwing the company over or B) Screwing your customer over. I answered in the most ethically sound way possible and I believe they were looking for someone who was a little more willing to bend their ethics to squeeze out a few more dollars for Altria. But I'm probably the stupid one for thinking a cigarette company would respect business ethics.   Answer Question
