Horrible company. Very shady business in how they get people to interview. Lack of communication.

Panel interview. They ask a lot of questions about challenges you've faced or "Tell me a time when you had to convince someone of something". A lot of questions on what you did on your resume so know your resume well! :)

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Washington, DC (took 1+ week)
Approximately 3 weeks after submitting my resume I received a phone call from a Sales Manager requesting 20 minutes of my time for a phone interview. Interview asked what I knew about the position as well as STAR's based questions. He then explained a little bit more about the position and said he would be in touch. Later that day he called back to schedule a panel interview for the following week. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to the interview, as there are three questions you have to answer on a piece of paper prior to the panel. This was definitely difficult. I spent a lot of my time going over their mission, values, products, history, etc. to prepare for the interview but none of this was asked. There were three individuals in the room, including the one that conducted the phone interview. All three were very personable. They asked me about my life, and then all STAR's based questions. Most were easy, but there were a few difficult ones - the follow-up questions in particular (i.e. "If I wanted you to teach me how to do that, how would you go about doing so?). At the end they asked a situational question and then allowed me to ask any questions I had. The interview lasted about an hour and they said they would contact me in 5-7 business days to let me know whether I was moving forward to the day in the field or not. That's where I am right now... wish me luck!
** UPDATE** So after not receiving a call back as mentioned, I called the Unit Manager (person who conducted my initial phone interview and was involved in the panel interview as well). I called on the 10th business day and said I was just calling to check on the status of my candidacy. He told me that he doesn't have any say in the decision making process and he would contact the HR Department and have them contact me "very shortly". Three business days later I still have yet to receive a call or an e-mail.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2 weeks)
You apply online, basic stuff. Then an easy quick phone interview with the District Manager, then he/she schedules a time to call again and make an appointment for a panel interview. Had to travel to a nearby town where they had two rooms, each with 2 territory managers- I was assigned to one and had a 45 min. STARS based interview.
They all were nice, didn't get the offer though, they had to have interviewed close to 20 that day. They did have a hard time contacting people about the outcome. . . I know of someone, highly qualified that never received and answer.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 2 days)
The first round was 30 minutes of behavioral questioning. I messed up on one of the answers and did not get a call back. I interviewed for the full time position. It is much easier to get a position as an intern. I have had multiple friends get internships at this company, and they make great money.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 3 days)
The interview was based on previous experiences and asked you to reflect on times that you were involved in a specific situation. They then asked a forward looking question and asked how you would react. This all came after you wrote down three answers to questions on paper. I also took part in a phone interview 3 days earlier.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Houston, TX (took 2 days)
The first interview is very simple, and is really just to make sure that you are a regular person. This is a 1:1 interview, and the person interviewing you is pretty low in the company. The second interview is with a couple of people who are both higher up in the company. They REALLY grill you here. It was pretty intimidating and they nit pick every response that you give them.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 2 days)
First interview went very well, mostly behavioral questions. Interviewed by a younger man and an older women, had a lot in common with them/talked about study abroad experience. Second interview was with a panel of three people, had to fill out a sheet before hand explaining my past experiences and why they would make me qualified for the position.
Asked me to give an example of when I had to prioritize different things and how it turned out.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Baton Rouge, LA (took a day)
It was a 30 min interview on campus at the career center. Everything was fine until they asked a question about my experience in anaylzing and collecting data even though my resume had nothing on there about that. Interview came to halt shortly after that. I had lots of experience in product distribution which is basically what this job requires. 48 hours later, I recieved those Do Not Reply emails saying I was not being considered
