No Offer – Interviewed in Nice (France) Apr 2013 – Reviewed Apr 27, 2013
Interview Details – I applied through a consultant company. There was just an interview, with an Alten project leader. He was quite a smart guy and was very busy. The interview was focused only on technical questions regarding C++, SQL and distributed architectures. I had no much experience on distributed architectures, so in the last part of the interview I just replied with a long "I don't know" series.... For someone that has already experience in that field it shouldn't be a problem to answer, since the questions on C++ and SQL were quite basical questions
Interview Question –
Indexers in SQL and their comparison
Distribute architecture and databases programming

Interview Details – I got an interview call from an IT consultancy company for the Software Engineer position. Then I had an interview with a project manager at Amadeus. After two weeks they gave me the feedback.
Interview Question – Nothing difficult. Questions mostly related to previous project. Advantages and disadvantages of c++ and Java. Multithreading, design patterns. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I got reasonable offer. I think you should negotiate if you feel that it's not proper offer.

Interview Details –
I agreed about an interview in Sophia-Antipolis with Astek for Amadeus.
They allowed me to choose a suitable day and time. Before the interview with the Amadeus Manager I had a quick talk with an Astek's Consultant. We then moved to Amadeus Head Quarter for the interview.
No technical questions were asked. I just needed to make a quick presentation, explain why I decided to work for Amadeus and what I'd like to do in the future.
Interview Question – Nothing too difficult or unexpected. On the other hand I thought the interview would have been more technical. View Answer
Negotiation Details –
They simply offered a good job and it was impossible to say no.
Need to wait some weeks to have a feedback, do not be impatient!

Interview Details – A recruiter from the company called me for my CV that I had uploaded in monsterboard. I expressed interest, and after an online test they called me after 2 weeks for an on-site interview. Everything very well organized, flight hotel taxi lunch etc, and the process comprised of 4 1:1 interviews (2 HR and 2 senior engineers). From the engineer side, the one was kind of cool, asking general questions like motivation and then some few technical ones. The other was quite strict, asked me to write some code and very specific technical questions. From the HR, one was asking very general questions and showed the results of the online test, the other was like depressed and didn't seem very supportive, was trying to find negatives. I received a mail 3 days later with a generic rejection-template.

Interview Details – I was contacted by HR for a position in PM, I showed my interest and soon led to another call explaining the interview process. Had an interview call with unit manager for about an hour, went very well leading to face-face interviews.
Interview Question – From my perspective there were no difficult questions because the process was smooth but there was one question asking to define a good business requirements? But beyond the interview process, the whole experience was fantastic only till I learned that they filled the post internally and that they preferred more experience. View Answer

Interview Details –
I was working full time in amadeus through a consulting company.
They told me what to say and what kind of questions they were gonna ask.
We went together at Amadeus premises and I had an interview with a director.
It was the easiest interview I ever had, he basically just asked me if I wanted to work there.
All they look seems to be your grad school.

Interview Details –
The interview process was plain and simple. First, the contact person at Astek, the main subcontractor in Sophia Antipolis (direct entry is almost impossible since Amadeus recruits via subcontractors and offers a fixed contract after 2-3 years) met me in person to get me prepared for the interview with the Amadeus manager.
It took approximately one hour. In a nutshell:
- Introduction (~ 2-3 min)
- Company and department presentation (5 min)
- CV "walkthrough" and discussion (30 min)
- Questions regarding personality and soft skills (5-10 min)
- My questions and discussion (10-15 min)
Interview Question – Convince me in 10 min that you are the right person for the position View Answer

Different for Interns and External Hires:
Interns: A topic of internship will be agreed before you join the company as intern. A internship tutor will be assigned to you. You have complete freedom of materializing the topic through your own ideas, your tutor or manager and the team you re working with will only guide you. There will be constant reviews with the manager. After about 4 months you will be asked to present (once or multiple times) your topic and its first implementation to your colleagues and your senior manager. In these presentations various aspects will be discussed. You would have to support or justify your ideas, design, implementation with rational answers. After presentations and discussions, depending on the reviews from your manager, colleagues, senior manager and product definitions you will be asked for one more presentation with your director. He will give his feedback and send your candidature to the HR. HR interviews consists of Intelligence test, English test and psychometry test. If you qualify in those tests you will be asked to attend a personality interview and a HR specialist interview. All this feedback will be sent to the Vice President who discusses with senior management and then adds the final comments. If you are successful you will receive a call from HR who discusses your compensation package and joining date. Whole process could take up to 5 months.

Interview Details – It was a Skype interview that lasted 18 minutes. Everybody was polite, but it was obvious that the two interviewers hadn't bothered to look at my CV (the human resources person had read the CV). It is irritating to prepare for an interview, read up on the company etc., and find that the interviewers haven't spent two minutes prepping for the interview. It would be better, not to waste anybody's time, and to skip the interview entirely.
Interview Question – How would you go about finding out the necessary information to write a good set of instructions? Answer Question

Interview Details –
Phone interview where an Amadeus manager asked about what I knew about them, then he did an explanation of the project.
After that he went through my CV an asked a few technichal questions about C++, Java, C# ...
The most difficult part for me, a non english native speaker, was the strong frech accent of the manager that made difficult understanding him sometimes.
