I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Amazon India in January 2012.

    Interview

Asked some tree-based questions and questions on arrays. It was not that difficult if you prepare well in advance. Had 3 rounds of onsite interview and I didn't do well in the 2nd round maybe because of which I didn't get the offer.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Amazon India (Bangalore (India)).

    Interview

Did not find seriousness in respecting the schedule. Telephonic interview was rescheduled 3 times. 2 out of 3 interviewers seemed to just conduct the interview for sake of it - Even found them yawning and too tired and fofocusing.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Amazon India (Bangalore (India)).

    Interview

Contacted by a recruiter from Amazon and after a CV screen arranged for the telephonic screen.

Overall a very professional telephonic interview. Interviewer was clear about what he was looking for. It was purely technical and very focused. The interviewer constantly takes notes during the interview. might be a bit distracting.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions were based on solving the problems the team faces; but abstracted a bit to make it more generic. Some questions on writing a simple program and also data structures.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through other source – interviewed at Amazon India (Hyderābād (India)) in April 2015.

    Interview

The best part about the interview was that they conducted the HR round before conducting any other round. So there was clear communication about expectations and I really loved this fact because many other companies waste the time by conducting various rounds and then finally in the HR round, they get to know what the candidate really is capable of.
