Human Resources Function Interview

Negative Experience
Average Interview

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon.com (Seattle, WA) in March 2010.

3 phone interviews before onsite. Onsite interview was in a dark conf room, no feel for company. Met with 5-6 people who rotated into the conf room. People are smart, slight ego issue, didn't get a true feel of the cutlure.

Reasons for Declining

2 part signing bonus felt like golden handcuffs, but overall package was desireable. Didn't really know what the true environment was, never saw anything outside of the conf room - so didn't knwo what I was signing up for. Never go the feeling they were excited about me, just felt like churn thru the process. Interview questions were very relevant.
