Interviewed with 6 people altogether. Two, including group president, didn't have a clue about the role I was interviewing for. Two really connected my experience/skills with the business need. One spent most of the interview telling me why she was leaving.

Negotiate everything. Get it in writing.

I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Pune (India) (took 1 week)
First 5-6 hours of written test including aptitude ,OS,C, algoriths,flow charts,complexity of algorithms and data structures.
Then after that 1 combined technical + HR round of interview was conducted.
that interview was of very short duration and few questions regarding SQL/C was asked.
Main filter was written test only.

Negotiation Details
They will give you only whatever they had decided prior to the interview.
There is no process or any range for the packages range you could get.
Its upon the mood of HRs persons as they dont have anything defined as range for any talent.
They will give or offer whatever they like depending upon there mood.
Mostly all donkeys would fetch large sum of package and the people who really did well in the interview would get similar to the freshers.

For Experienced people:
1st round - Online skill test(based on which technology you are working ie Java/.Net/DBA/Testing)
2nd round - Personal Tech Round with Manager
3rd round - Online IQ Test
4th round - HR interview

They pay well so negotiate well to get a good offer above market standards

I got the interview through a Staffing Agency and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test and a Background Check.

Overall process is very lengthy. After initial resume submission, it took them 2-3 weeks to revert because hiring manager forgot to update hiring team who forgot to update consultant through whom i got this.Company is good, ask for good hike if offered. They take time to negotiate but can offer what you expect if the need is urgent.

Time taken a lot during negotiation . Discussion very lengthy explaning company's bebefits but i held my ground. In the end, we were almost there that i was looking for.

Hi ,
I was informed regarding the position by recruiting agency. They called me for interview in PUNE at 11.30AM on 26 September 2011. I travelled from mumbai to pune and reached there by 10.45AM. They took 2 technical interview for almost 4.5 hour and then an online test of 2 hour. it was almost 6.30PM I completed my online test. I left for the day after filling the employment form and I was informed hr round will be interview will be telephonic. After 3 days they called me for HR Round. And was asking for 2 more round from senior manager.

Reason for Declining
They offered me 5.3 Lakhs not even 10 % hike from current 4.9 lakhs and they are expecting me to appear for almost 2 rounds of screening more from senior manager. I just asked them whether you people are incapable of judging people after 4 rounds of screening for not even 10%hike. So I declined

standard test computer based mainly, C (including macros), SQL (joins, etc), cobol (optional), java (optional), Unix (permissions, top 20 commands, etc), basic algorithms, find bugs in code, IQ test, personality test - all together ~4 hours.
Afterwards an interview with Manager and Director for a presentation/discussion on some topic at choice.
Work culture in dev. center: highly multicultural environment.
Many specialized teams, well into methodologies.
Based on the team/proj., you can get travels around the world.

No.
Hard to get more, even with high experience.
For relocation contracts, there are good benefits packages.

first you need to attend a written test which contains six different sections like,
apptitude
Testing(domain specific)
learning
sql
unix
problem solving
written exam has a section level cut off with negative marking for wrong answers..
whole test would go for 2 hours approx
Once this is cleared you will be called for an personal interview with a panel where you will be asked questions on your domain, sql and unix
last round would be HR - No filteration here, this round is only to decide on your package
Negotiation Details
It just goes for 15 - 20 mins, They have strict numbers based on your experience and you will get that amount even you ask for less..however you will not get greater than what they decide..
They basically dont negotiate..

first of all this was the first interview i gave.
amdocs came to our college with basic criteria of 60% + in engg till date and in 10 ,12 equivalent including diploma.
the had 3 sets of papers c , C++ and java .
i choosed java as i had more knowledge in it
and all the sets included Q's on sql and unix which were really tough
your average knowledge of sql is not going to help u like select and update queries.
the interview was taken by 2 persons
it was good enough
they were asking normal regarding sql and java
they gave a case study to solve which i solved
these case studies are ur gatepass to amdocs
if u answer ur are through regardless of ur HR interview thats what i noticed.
i got intial salary as 4.2lac per annum so good enough for starters

suppose u have a rack
the rack has drawwers
each drawwer can have upto 10 books if exceeded then create another drawer and insert book in that.
initially u have only 1 drawer and 0 books
how will u solve it any language.

it was my first one so didnt had the right to negotiate.

The interview for SME/SSME consists of a computer adaptive technical test followed by a face to face technical round and lastly a HR round. The technical round consists of questions from Unix,SQL,Java/C++,Aptitude,PseudoCode/Basic Algorithms.
All the questions are basic to Intermediate level in the computer adaptive technical test.
The interview round consists of questions from intermediate to advanced level questions.
The HR round is just for the sake and basically a salary negotiation round.
