Simple behavioral questions. Interviewer smiled a lot and was easy to talk to.
Was told would hear back in 1 weeks time if I was to be denied or offered a 2nd interview. Never heard back.

Very laid back interview for HR. I had no interest in going into HR and just wanted practice in interviewing.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 1 week)
As a college student, I met Air Liquide at a career fair and talked to a few of the representatives there. There were two of them; they were extremely helpful and even advised me on my resume! Afterwards, they extended to me an interview offer, to which I accepted.
From that moment, it was apparent to me that the Air Liquide representatives took care to conduct themselves in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner. Although it was likely that I would not routinely meet them if I do receive the internship, it was a pleasant glimpse into the nature of the work environment there.
The interview was extremely relaxed and simple. I again met up with one of the representatives, and we began to go into very general questions. The position I was applying for directly involved chemical engineering, but there were no technical questions asked during my interview. Instead, they were more character based: "When have you ever demonstrated initiative?" for example. There was a sheet of paper that he was pulling the questions from, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't dramatically vary from person to person (I have no way of substantiating this, however).
After the interview was completed, he said that in the near future, I will be conducting a phone interview with an on-site supervisor. I have yet to receive the second-round offer, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it happened very soon.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
First filled out a job application through their online site. Received a phone call about a week later asking to set up a phone interview. After setting up the phone interview, the interviewer called me but seemed to know very little about my resume. Thought I was a PhD student and when she realized I was just a recent undergrad determined I was unfit for the job. Bit of a waste of time.

Interviewed Jul 2010 (took a day)
Talent Aquisition Leader contacted me about a recruiter position. We were scheduled to do a phone interview (had even emailed each other up until three hours before our scheduled phone interview to confirm the time). Then the unprofessional recruiter did not call. I even sent an email an hour after the time had passed and still did not ever get a response.
I have heard from others that this is typical of the recruiting department there. They really need to be more considerate of applicants and interviewees. This was unacceptable behavior.

Interviewed Nov 2009 (took 2 days)
Submitted resume on campus career center and company site. Very useful info session the night before helped me think of questions and qualities to highlight. Interviewer was somewhat impersonal and liked to throw in curveball questions during the behavioral interview.
