    Branch Manager Interview

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at American Automobile Association (AAA) in April 2011.

    Interview Details

After waiting three months for contact after I submitted my resume, I drove over 100 miles to the HQ to interview. I never was given the chance to speak with anyone, I was only told to sit at a computer and take their screening test. After about an hour of answering questions, a message flashed on the screen that I had not passed the test. There was no explanation given. I spoke with the HR rep who said oh, gee, we really liked your resume. I asked how I could find out why I failed their screening, and was told I could not but I could reapply in six months. I was furious as I had wasted time and gas driving there when I could have done their computer test at home. Also, if I didn't know why they didn't want me, why would I reapply? Finally, I wasn't give the chance to speak to anyone to find out about the job, so why would I remain interested? This was the worst interview experience I ever had.

I applied online – interviewed at American Automobile Association (AAA) in August 2014.

I had a phone interview went well then I had to come in for a face to face interview not to mention my interviewer was late and very rude. Didn't seem like she wanted to interview me at all and she also seemed like she didn't know what she was doing I felt very uncomfortable. after the 3 question was name a time you had to adjust to change I gave my answer of how I would have training very frequently and I had to adjust to new products and systems frequently and compared it to my previous job then she looked at the other said and said we need a moment came back and said we are done. I asked is there role play she said no I felt very disrespected for them being rude and not even giving me a chance I'm more than qualified for the position and would have made a great asset to the team( previous employment being inbound service and sales for a telelcommunication company) so I know for sure how to do the position but this expierence made me really wonder how they got in the door if there's always angry and unethical I feel like I deserve a new interviewer and they deserve to reevaluated .....worse interview I have ever expierenced AAA you need to find more friendly ppl for interviewing

I applied online – interviewed at American Automobile Association (AAA).

    Interview Details

I was called in for an interview after speaking with a recruiter. I did the application online and was then contacted by the recruiter who sent me the link for the assessment test. After passing the test she set me up for an interview with two branch managers. When I first arrived I was placed in a waiting area surrounded by cubicle walls, the ceiling was extremely low and the office felt small. When I was called in by the managers I was asked a few questions about my work history. After a horrible interview filled with repetitive questions I was then told my resume didn't have enough sales experience. I replied by saying "I though my resume was reviewed before I was called in for an interview." One of the managers kept insisting I apply to an entry level position and work my way up. I kindly rejected the offer and made my way out the door. The whole process was a complete waist of time and really unprofessional.

The interview process is a never ending process because they only hire part time. 40+ hours are almost always available however unless you know someone you're never going to be a "full time" employee who gets to enjoy the benefits that come with being a "full time" employee.

There are many employees that have been chasing a full time position here for as many as 5 and 10 years only to be passed over by nepotism.

Hard work loyalty and dedication are not rewarded.

Applied online, received a call from a Tampa area code, 813, from a nice recruiter. She asked several questions (pre-screening interview) Be prepared to answer general interview questions. If you are applying for this position, MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOU HAVE CALL CENTER EXPERIENCE AND SALES EXPERIENCE. If you do well on the phone, she will schedule a in office interview, and will be asked to complete an online assessment. The interview IS LONG. My interview took almost two hours. I was interviewed by two supervisors. They were nice. The interview consisted of a "pretend sales call", in addition, they asked about fifteen questions, that needed to be detailed and from a specific experience. After completing the interview they advised they would call me back. i received a call last week, asking me to come in AGAIN later this week...so we'll see what happens next.
