Interviewed Jul 2011 (took a day)
Posted my resume on careerbuilder.com, received email from American eagle, with invite to interview, bring all documents requested, be on time, if you are late, no interview...if you have tatoos on hand, neck or face, you will not be hired, if you have nose, tongue or lip piercings, take out for interview, you can not wear those piercings while at work. they gave very clear picture, that the job is not glamourous, job is hard, pay is only $9.00 hr, but benefits are great

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
There was about 25 people there. As they started to talk in detail about the position about half the people got up and walked out of the room. The customer service rep is also the baggage handler and a ramp agent, It is a very physical job. They called 4 people in at a time and we all had a group interview. There was 5 people that asked us about 10 questions. Then we went into the main room and got finger printed.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The hours weren't good and the pay was horrible.
I was told in the email I could become full time but after the interview I was told they hardly ever hire full time positions. They recommended you do not have another job because if they need you, you have to come in. They won't work around another jobs schedule. However they could only guarantee 20 hours a week.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took a day)
I applied to American Eagle online and got a call a few days later asking if i wanted to come in for an interview. The interview was fairly easy, it was a group interview which gave you enough time to come up with an good answer depending on where you sit around the table. They said they would call us the same day and let us know if we got it because they had a few interviews to do before the end of the day. I got a call two days later congratulating me and asking to come in for finger printing which was scheduled for the following day.

Negotiation Details
Was not able to negotiate anything. The pay is set but they kept saying the benefits over shadow the low pay rate. They told us we need to have an open availability because the shift bids are based on seniority.

The interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Must possess Airframe and Powerplant license. Easy to get hired if you have experience then better, but you won't be reimbursed for your experience. Will start from base pay. Negotiate your preference of area to work. Their are always opening through out system. Request other cities at the beginnign. If not then Eagle will tell you only one opening. Most likely a place where it it had for them to fill. (The Sticks). Interview is very basic and easy. just be professional.
Interview Questions
Would you work nights?
Negotiation Details
Pay start out is about $15/hr. Takes 12 years to top out of about $25/hr. This is a union position. Pay and job respobsibility is per Union and Company contract. If you take the job. Ask to work in a unionized base or else if not then when you transfer to a unionized base you will loose your raises and your seniority. Which seniority matters for everything. Such as layoffs, vacation and which shift to work!!!
