They contacted me within 3 days of applying. I checked out Glassdoor first - apprehension set in. Clearly you could tell the changes from bankrupcy were new the tnterviewer, not comfortable & couldn't wait to tell me the current decreased salary. The salary for clinic mgr was $40,000 across the board for everyone, any location. Hrs were 9-7 M to Fri & Sat 9-3 req. At end of month you had to try to kick in last min sales by working some 12 hr days. I've never had someone who couldn't wait to tell me the salary. I was very turned off to make just above $12 an hr!

Interview process was relatively easy.
Pretty much walk in an act like the girls interviewing you are your best friends and you will make it through. They looooooove thier kiss-ups who will worship the ground they walk on!

I was given an interview for a Clinic Manager, and the interviewer was rather deceiving from the interview. They gave a misconception of the position being basically mine, and even wanted me to view a particular branch to see how I liked it. Afterwards I attempted to get in contact for the status of what appeared to be mine, and can't get in contact with any of the staff from American Laser. Poor management and HR department, and poor interviewer.

Reason for Declining
After speaking with several current and prior employees about the lack of training I felt this would not be the position for me. It was clear that meeting quota is more important than patient safety.

1:1 interview with clinic manager. She told me the details of the position and what is expected of me. Also told me about her management style. Asked me why I wanted to work in aesthetics and if I would be ok with simply operating the laser all day.

Phone Interview and 1:1 Interview with the 3 Call Center Managers. Pretty easy, didn't ask any questions out of the ordinary. There is a role play, but as long as you can string a few words together without mumbling you are golden! Just be perky and smile a lot.

Each clinic manager will make you interview for the job, even if you already work for the company. I had worked for the company for 2 years, with good performance reviews, when I applied for a transfer. The interview process still took nearly 3 months, and no one seemed to be organized about this process. Clinic managers, regional and district managers gave me next to no help in this process, and I felt as if I was applying to a brand-new job. Very disappointing.
