American Specialty Health Call Center Representative Interview

Interviewed Oct 2011 in San Diego, CA (took 2 weeks)

Applied online as instructed. About 2 weeks later, I got an email from HR asking to set up a phone interview, giving me several times/dates to choose from. An HR rep called me at appointed time and asked me a couple procedural type questions to confirm info on my application. After a few minutes, she said that she didn't think that it would be a good fit because I was way overqualified for the position and she thought I would be bored. She invited me to apply for some of the manager positions available online and was very helpful, saying that I could contact her directly if I was interested in any of the other available positions. After looking at the open positions, I didn't see anything that I felt was a good fit, so that was the end of that. Overall, a good experience and the person I spoke to seemed organized and friendly.
