Interviewed Oct 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
Interview was all behavioral. I showed up on site to the company and she took me into an office and sat down with me one on one. They generally look for an interns to stay for at least a year but they only stay for about a semester. The lady just asked me to walk her through my resume. They are particularly interested if you have experience in insurance.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Colorado Springs, CO (took a day)
Casual interview, they were just looking for someone to work in a support role for the financial advisors and other staff members. There were no case questions or anything like that but I'm sure that varies from practice to practice. They were mostly looking for strong organizational skills and ability to assist with basic client service jobs.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Santa Monica, CA (took a day)
I applied through my college career website for Fall Internship. I got an email and I went in for an on-site interview. I was asked basic questions about myself and what I was involved with. There were moments of awkwardness between the HR person and her manager but overall simple questions. It took about 30 minutes

Interviewed May 2009 (took 2 weeks)
I talked to one of the financial advisors from the practice where I interned at college career fair. I would say it was a fair, rather relaxed interview. Be familiar with what's on your resume...basically all the questions about my background are related to the bullet points on my resume. People seemed to be friendly and nice.
