Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 2 days)
I met with a recruiter at a university career fair, where she scheduled an interview for the next day. The interview consisted mostly of behavioral questions, and lasted about 30 minutes. She said I would be contacted either way in the next week or so, and I am still awaiting a response.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 1 week)
The questions seemed to be pulled from some "basic interview questions" book. I've done quite a few interviews. The interviewer seems detached from the conversation, so much so that had I recorded the answers on webcam the process would have been no different. Question: Reponse. Next Question: Etc.
I got the feeling they wanted someone to fit into a very particular mold for this position, which is basically a call-center manager position that requires immediate relocation per their discretion.

Interviewed Jan 2012 (took 4 weeks)
I submitted my resume and was called the following day from a recuiter. We set-up a time to complete a 15 minute phone interview. The phone interview consisted of questions of what I thought of their company, from reviewing their website and a few traditional interview questions..........After the phone interview, I was advised that I made it to the next round. I was called a few hours later with my appt time for the second interview at the local branch.
A week later, I went to the office for the 1:1 interview. I was only asked two interview questions. The rest of my time the Account Manager was telling me about the company. After the interview, she advised me that she was recommending me for the next round. That night I was emailed a information packet: a background check, driving record, credit check, formal application, and a writing sample instructions.
Once completed, I submitted all the documents to the Corporate office. A week later was sent a thank you but no thanks email... This was very disappointing. I know, I passed the background check and driving record (I have a boring life:) So it came down to the writing sample (Which I had a english major, a teacher, and director of a Fortune 500 company look over and it still was not good enough WOW!!)

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I got an interview at the job fair and the questions were pretty standard mostly revolving around customer service. At the end of the interviewer the interviewer said she would recommend me for the next round and I got an e-mail asking for a writing sample with a prompt. I completed this and e-mailed it and received an e-mail the next day saying I wasn't selected for further consideration. I truly thought I had the job in a basket as the interview went extremely well and my writing sample was very well written. I had my writing sample critiqued by a college professor and I answered the questions perfectly.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied for job online. Heard back a little over a month later, and was asked to fill out an employment application. Once i filled that out, i received a call requesting an in-person interview and a skills test. Was welcomed right away by the Administrative Assistant. The skills test was basic math, grammer, spelling, etc. After taking the skills test, i met with the Branch Manager. Spoke about the job position and about Amica overall. After speaking with him, i spoke with three others in the office- all being in a supervisory position. We spoke more in depth about job details and how i would handle certain situations; we spoke about customer service and training requirements. Everyone talked very highly of the company, and were very welcoming from the beginning. Received a call from the branch manager almost a week later. I couldn't be more proud to be working for a great company!

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Englewood, CO (took 2 weeks)
I received a call and scheduled a time to come in for an interview and typing test. I arrived early and was taken to a computer. I was not told there would be a math test, grammer test, spelling test and a typing test. I passed all except the math. Make sure you brush up on fractions and percentages before you go in. I hadn't used those skills in years. I was then taken to interview with two people. There was a manager and another representative from the department I was applying for. They took turns reading questions and noting my responses, what upsets me the most about other employees, what are my strengths, weaknesses etc.. They stayed stone faced and I left having no clue of how it went. My time for the first interview was over 2 hours.
I had a call when I got home setting up my second interview. It was the same as the first, two managers this time taking turns reading questions. With the wait time it was almost two hours. I received a call asking me to retake the math test, I went back and passed this time.
The third call was for the final interview, I was asked to sit with a representative for 3 hours to see if the job was still a fit for me, I was hooked in to the phone with them so I could listen to both sides of the conversation. I did not know insurance lingo so was a little lost most of the time. I could have accomplished plenty in one hour. The manager was not ready yet so I ended up on the phone with the rep for 4 hours. Then had my third interview. It was short, basically asking what I thought of the job, what I saw as the most important things the rep needed to do. Then to send a summery via email telling what I observed and liked or didn't like about the position. I thought I would be offered the position after about 12 hours of my time invested in the interview process. Instead I was told they did not have enough applicants yet to make a decision and they would let me know. She thought it would only be a couple weeks.
I received an non-commital email after two weeks that they still did not know. I did not get offered the job for over a month.

Negotiation Details
The offer was on the table before I ever went to the offices. It was $15.16 an hour. I did not try to negotiate. I figured they provided the training and paid for the licensing and classes so I was happy with that.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Skills Test and a Background Check.
