Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 2 weeks)
The telephone interview was professional and well designed with standard answers and general high level information about Andersen Corporation.
The 1 on 1 or face to face interview was informal. I felt more that they were fishing more for information and background on their competitors then their interest in my assests and experiences for the company. They has a formal question sheet, used it on some questions, I dont think he took notes. There was a second person in the interview so when it came to salary and negotiations questions on my part, they back burnered the question as not to speak in front of the co-interviewer which would be on the same level.
I interview in mid March and on June 9th or there abouts, I received a email that they did not hire someone for the postition because the market didnt bare a new hire.
From an HR perspective, although the interview process was relatively easy, I would have thought they would have considered all the hiring parameters prior to soliciting for the position. That left me concerned about their management

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Bayport, MN (took 1 week)
I met the recruiter at a career fair, and I was later phoned to setup an interview time. The interview went very well, but I didn't hear back or get a job offer. I followed up via email two months later and was told they were still going through the hiring process.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Bayport, MN (took a day)
I approached them at the UW-Madison engineering career fair and due to my interest in the company, I was granted an interview for the following day. The interview was 20 minutes long with two other Andersen Engineers. They asked behavioral questions as well as background questions about myself. I believe I got the job offer because I showed them that I valued their close-knit community and personal atmosphere and I made it clear that I could see myself making a career with their company. They want to hire interns who will come back as full time employees.
