Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 days)
Saw a job posting for the position and called the store to see if they recieved my resume. They didn't so I came in and met with the store manager. She gave me the invitation to apply andtold me to come in for an interview later that week and we set up the day and time. One on one interview with the SM then the next day the DM called and we just chatted. One hour the SM called back and made an offer. Very smooth and quick interview process.

Interviewed May 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 2 weeks)
Applied online and was contacted the next day by recruiter. Was told that a manager in the district would call to set up interview. Took almost a week for phone call. Set up interview. Met with the DM and SM. DM asked all the questions. They came into the interview not having any info on me or my resume. Felt as though this was very unprofessional. Lasted 40 minutes, felt as though they didn't like me from the moment they saw me. I was in a suit, guess that wasn't "image".

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 1 week)
This interview consisted of a phone interview for 40 minutes. Then an in person interview. The typical questions were asked such as name 3 positive experiences and 3 negative experiences and what did you do to deal with the situation, strengths, weaknesses, What can you bring to the company to enforce our beliefs, etc. The confusing part was that it seemes the manager did not agree with the core values the company enforces? Such as encouraging the employees, building a team to be productive, building client trust and store experience. It was more on numbers and stats and showed irritation when speaking on the numbers and gave me a "lesson" on the numbers. The numbers, stats, ROV, coversion rates will grow and go up IF manager focuses on the Values and GOals the company has already laid out for the managers and associates! Such as Customer -client entire shopping experience 1st... and loving the brand, filling the needs of associates and clients, etc etc. It was confusing and frustrating to me.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 1 week)
I was already employed with the company and wanting to transfer to another store out of state as well as move up to a higher position. I had a phone interview with the store manager and then another phone interview with the District Manager.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Akron, OH (took a day)
I interviewed with the store manager of Ann Taylor who asked me repeatedly if I were serious about considering the opportunity. (who would interview at holiday if they weren't serious?) The manager came across a little desparate but overall business focused throughout the interview. She asked very typical questions and at the end of the hour (though was told it would only be half an hour long) she asked about salary requirements. I told her I found average to be 40K, and she got incredibly defensive and swore that wasn't possible. She said MAX would be 35K maybe. I told her I wouldn't consider leaving my currernt employer for any less... she's been dodging my phone calls for a week now and we work in th same mall. How utterly unprofessional.
