Asked a series of questions. By two different managers . The usual knowlege of company, customer service, employee, interest in company growth, hours preference, summary of place. Past expierence. No different than another job interview. Prior to getting interview, must take an assessment test. About an hour. Don't bother nit worth the trouble

I reached out the district manager upon noting the job on a posting. She eventually returned my call, set up an interview, followed by an interview with the regional recruiter. I was then flown to interview with the regional manager. The next day I was offered the position.

The manager asked me about myself, what were my goals for teh nest five years. She was very clear about what they were looking for and what would be expected of me during my shifts.

I interviewed with the design team, 2 members, the merchant managers of the divisions I would be managing, and the VP of merchandising. I came in on two seperate days for these, and was offerred the job over the phone.

I submitted my application on a Friday and was told to call back the next day on Saturday to speak with the manager who wasn't in at the time. I called back on Saturday and spoke to the manager. She did not seem to want to take my call and she informed me she only dealt with new hires Monday through Friday and that if she was interested she would call me back. I figured I would never hear from them again but a few days later I received a call from the assistant manager who wanted to interview me the next day. The interview went really well and she scheduled an interview a few days later for me to meet with the manager. The day of the interview the manager called and told me my availability would not work for her when the assistant manager said my availability was exactly what they needed. She canceled the interview as I was walking out the door to meet her. I was shocked at her behavior.

I found the position posting on craigslist and took the personality screening. Later that day I got a call asking to come in for an interview the following day. It was a group interview with four other people. The interview was very casual and it lasted about an hour (mostly the manager giving background info). Got a call two hours after the interview saying I was hired.

Saw a job posting for the position and called the store to see if they recieved my resume. They didn't so I came in and met with the store manager. She gave me the invitation to apply andtold me to come in for an interview later that week and we set up the day and time. One on one interview with the SM then the next day the DM called and we just chatted. One hour the SM called back and made an offer. Very smooth and quick interview process.

I was called by the manager about an interview. During my interview I was asked questions about customer service and some personality questions. At the end of the interview she did a style test where I had to pick a day to night outfit for a customer and a outfit for a business interview.

I initially met with a freelance recruiter that I contacted on linkedin. We had a phone interview than I came in to meet with her in person. The following week she had me meet with my soon-to-be boss, we met for an hour. Easy. I had to do a writing project. Once submitted I then met with the head of the department. Then another head of a department and ultimately my future co-worker (odd).

The interview was very easy and private with the store manager. The store manager made me feel very comfortable. She made it very clear from the beginning that Ann Taylor only hires exceptional people. She introduced me to the co-manager so that she could ask me questions. They made me an offer on the spot. Just make sure you are up to date on what's in that season with fashion, be able to describe the AT brand well and be flexible with your availability.
