Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
Awkward group interview hosted by snobby manager who didnt smile once. We competed to raise our hands and get called on by interviewer, which was a condescending approach to have your questions answered, it felt childish. Group was filled with all different types of people, some were there who had never had a job before, so overall it was strange. Got a cute little notecard to my personal address stating that I didnt get the job, was not in an envelope and available for the whole world to see!

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Jackson, MS (took a day)
The recruiter posted the position on her linkedin page and I emailed her directly about this opportunity. She was very prompt on emailing me back and we finally set up a day to talk. She had told me she would be a few minutes late when she was going to call due to a conference call she would be on. She was exactly 15 minutes late when she finally called me. There was a lot of noise in her background, mostly a dog barking which she did apologize about it. During the interview at some point she started driving her car someplace because I could hear the noise in the background. Overall, I think it was a very unprofessional way to do an interview.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
Saw the job posting online on the anthropologie website, about their group interviews hiring for Seasonal Sales Associates. I dropped by the store in dark denim, wedged heels, and a contemporary loose-fitting top. It was a group interview of about 6 people, and we were asked questions by the hiring manager about our work ethic, an example of excellent customer service you have received and given, as well as why we wanted to work specifically at anthropologie. At my location dress code seemed to not matter - some girls showed up to the interviewing suits, and other girls like myself in the "anthro" look; what seemed to be in common was good work ethic whether it be from any background (not necessarily retail).

Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 4 weeks)
Went into the store because I noticed that they were hiring. Filled out an application right then and there and the manager told me that they were having group interviews the week after. I go in for the scheduled group interview and there was 3 of us. It was very relaxed and not intimidating at all, I guess I was just lucky enough to be in a group of nice people. They asked some typical questions for a retail interview, like "what do you think is good customer service", and at the end of the interview, they asked us to create an outfit based around a top that they chose (I guess similar to what others have been saying). Before we left, they gave us a card with some information on it, and it was a link to an online test we had to take. Typical questions about your integrity as a worker.
A week later, I received a call to come in for a 2nd interview, and the 2nd interview was actually a one-on-one interview with another manager. This one was more relaxed and a little bit of a "getting to know you" sort of interview (likes, special skills, etc.). It was really short, it only lasted about 15 minutes and they said that they'd let me know their decision in the next couple of weeks.
Sure enough, about 1-2 weeks later, they gave me a call and offered me the job!

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 3 weeks)
I applied in-store looking to make some money over the holidays. They were doing "open interviews," so I sat down with a manager and about 6 other people after we turned in our applications. It was fairly obvious what they wanted to hear, mainly they asked about how we perceive the Anthro aesthetic, and what kind of people we envision wearing Anthro. Asked lots of creative questions but also many standard questions about work experience. A few days later I received a call and took a test online asking my opinions on acceptable behavior in terms of drugs/alcohol and the workplace. A few days later I got a call to schedule training.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Pasadena, CA (took 3 weeks)
I applied online, went through two phone interviews and then had an in-person interview. The whole process was very helpful and not too complicated. Unfortunately they filled the position internally, but the visual manager told me to re-apply. She was very helpful and was more than happy to answer my questions about how I had done when she called to say the position had been filled. She really helped me figure out what areas I needed to work on and what areas I had done well in.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
I emailed the visual coordinator of the local Anthropologie beforehand to see if I could come if for an interview - it was pretty easy to set up. Interview itself was casual, we sat on the store couch and she asked me some questions on experience, background, potential scenarios and requirements of the internship. Was asked to take an online personality test based on hypothetical store scenarios. The visual coordinator emailed back the next day saying that scheduling issues were a main reason things didn't work out since they were looking to fill a certain time slot.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 5 days)
I went for a Job Fair at the newly opening Shops at Don Mills, gave them my resume and they very briefly asked me a few questions, then gave me a slip of paper linking to a website where they screened you with questions on loss prevention, drugs, etc. A week or so later I was called for an interview, and then another week and a bit later I was called with a job offer.

Negotiation Details
There's no negotiating, although they did pay me above minimum wage. And although I worked there for a year and a half they never gave me or any of the other sales associates pay raises that I knew of.
