It was unorganized and the recruiter was very unprofessional and lax in communication. She didn't call for the first interview at the time she was scheduled to. She called a few hours later and acted like it was nothing and did not even apologize or explain why she did not call and was not available for our scheduled call. By the time she got her stuff together, I had already got 2 other offers and accepted one of them. I really wanted to work here, but after the bad experience with the recruiter it left a bad impression. Also, she would never get back to me for weeks. This was the worst interview experience I've ever had.

The interview lasted from 9am and ended at 2pm. Listened to 2 presentations one of the actuarial student program that Aon offers to full-time employees, along with the other candidates, that lasted about an hour, and an internship presentation with a former intern who is now a full-time employee with the company that lasted 30 minutes. Had a one-on-one interview with 3 employees that lasted 30 minutes each. In between interviews had lunch with an entry level actuary.

Phone interview, then an in person where they had 4 different people interview and then 2 more people take me out to lunch. I was extremely surprised to hear that they didn't want to ask me any questions at all, but rather have me ask them questions about the company. Needless to say, I wasn't prepared to ask 4 people each a half hour worth of questions. So even though I had all the necessary skills and classes, they didn't take me.

The interviewer was a Gen Y that asked me three times if I really wanted/ could handle the job. When I said yes each time, her look said 'seriously' ? As if she knew the job would consist of a mental beating, lack of solid training, lack of customer support after the sale, and management that is a joke.
