Interviewed Jul 2010 in Boca Raton, FL (took 1 week)
I went to the first interview with an assistant manager and everything went well. Try to engage in small talk make yourself memorable. It was a shot interview and there was a lot of role playing questions and questions, asking you about past situations with customers and you dealt with them.
The way they work is if you get an email, it means you're rejected and if they call you it means that they are moving you in the interview process. I received a call and had a second interview with the store manager, she was very nice and the interview was very similar to the first one. Unfortunately I received an email about a week later, they never tell you why they rejected you, but I believe it was because of my limited availability and the fact that I had two jobs already.
If I would of clear that interview, I would only have one more interview to do with the regional manager. But by that point you're pretty much hired. I had a good experience and the interviews were in a relaxed environment.
Remember to dress light, jean and a shirt. You can even fold the sleeves, trust me it will help. I had an interview with them in the past with a suit and tie, and did not even consider me at all. You could tell from their looks. Steve Jobs is cool, they want to keep that image in their retail stores.
