Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Had a one to one interview with a recent hire. There were mainly behavioral questions for the first 10 minutes. Then it was followed by a case question. Finally a few minutes left for questions.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Washington, DC (took 3 days)
All rounds for inside sales are behavioral. First round was very laid back and I was asked to go over many things on my resume and comment how my background would be beneficial in sales. I was also asked to call the CEO of a Fortune 50 company and ask for a meeting.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took 2 days)
The first round was on-campus and consisted of a 10 minute general behavioral/resume question. The case was 25 minutes and was interviewer generated (hypothetical case). It was a straightforward expansion problem: whether to expand business or not.
The final round was held at the company headquarters and consisted of 4 case + behavior interviews. Most of the interviews required heavy computation and estimation. Every one of the cases, I could tell, were from previous clients and experience. Everyone I met was genuine and nice. I was shocked how young everyone was and yet how senior they were within the company.

Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
Went to a few on campus info sessions before. Had the interview 1:1. Very quantitative. Had to draw a lot of graphs for the case. 10 minutes of the interview was fit and behavior. The other 35 minutes was spent on a case involving trying to figure out the right pricing of a product for a business.

The main reason I am writing this review is to warn others that APT will contact your LinkedIn contacts for references without telling you. I gave them plenty of references and also let them know specifically that I did not want word to get out about my job search but I still received emails from two non-reference LinkedIn friends who let me know they had been contacted by APT.
On to the interview... they are extremely thorough in their interviewing process. My impression is they are afraid to hire senior developers from the outside, so you will be facing a lot of scrutiny. I went through three rounds of interviews, each one consisting of a half day of interviewing with developers, product managers and senior management. I interviewed with at least 9 different people, plus had dinner with some of their employees (which was cool).
Most of my interview questions were standard programming "how would you build this/solve this problem", but were language agnostic. I thought overall their interviewing process was a bit too lengthy but it seemed like a good way to weed out candidates who weren't interested or not very good. Everyone I interviewed with was friendly and smart.
I never finished the hiring process (it took almost 2 months). They were still reviewing my references when I got another job.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I spent a lot of time studying the company culture, since it is a small company which is very different from the one I worked before. But I might have over-spoken about how I will enjoy working for them (great company with smart people indeed). I stuck in a technical question which I never thought I would (get yourself comfortable with writing queries on paper). I got a feeling that since I spent too much time solving the question, the interviewer didn't really have enough time to ask all the questions he wanted to ask. Everything else went fine and generally it was a good experience.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Arlington, VA (took 2 days)
I got selected through campus recruiting. I had 2 interviews before the final round. The first interview was a 1:1 on-campus, then a telephonic interview. Both the interviews consisted of resume walkthrough, simple questions based on your experience and a case question which is usually a market sizing or estimation questions. The final round was onsite with 4 1:1 interviews, with presentations, breakfast and lunch to fill up the day. All interviews consisted of a case question, expecting you to walk them through your thought process. All case questions will be of similar genre, so you will get an idea from the first 2 rounds, by the time you reach the final round.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Arlington, VA (took a day)
Behavioral interview followed by a case question. The behavioral part wasn't bad and the case question (if I opened up a gas station, how much revenue and profit would I make on selling gas) wasn't too bad either. Interviewer was very nice and helpful and even gave me some tips on how to improve for the next round.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 2 days)
Got a phone interview. First question is why APT? Then moved straight to case question. I was asked to estimate the company value of WaMu right before it went bankrupt. The interviewer was very helpful and guide me along the way. He was satisfied with my results and I asked good questions which made him happy and as a result I was invited for a 2nd round phone interview.
Few days later, it's back to back case. The first one is about estimating facebook's company value. and the second is to estimate the value of Apple's Superbowl commercial. (is it worth it or not)
Didn't get the offer but the interviewer offered to give feedback which is very nice of them to do that. Overall, it's a great interviewing experience and the case questions are interesting
