Interview Details – Hiring is very quick, for good developers they don't think about much and also offer good salary and also it depends on negotiation.

I applied in-person - interviewed at Aptara in May 2012.

Interview Details – You will be interviewed and they ask just the basic questions. Make a good CV and speak as much as you can. Their HRs are not very knowlegeable and will themselves ask you to provides contacts. There is a place on the form where they will ask you to provide hierarchy. Talk about 3-4 achievements adn leadership initiatives. There is never any background check even if u were a thief you will get the job

Negotiation Details – Stick to your salary figure and don't budge, they just want to break you. Tell them you have 3 more offers and tell them u can show the offer letters. Dont reduce a penny

Interview Details – Hiring process is not that tough, first you have to go through preliminary HR round then you have a written test about technical knowledge then you have to go through oral technical round in which your interview will be taken by the respective manager.

Interview Details – No Procedure and plan, so don't go to join that company

It is very upset to inform you that the interview process done by your team members was very shameless. Even very unprofessional, It was not planned either, The guys who were taking interview was not interested as it was a lunch time, even they were not competitive either. as they don't even knew what to ask and how to ask. Their communication was like 2nd class student. They even don't know how to behave. I am informing you because just to grow up your selection process, choose right candidates for interview. The guys were not technical competitive either. So I request you to please do not call me again in future, because I don't even talk such kind of guys who are incompetent in nature. This shows how your company guys are ill. I am also going to post that thing in glass door as well in other different blogs to inform right guys not to join that company.

Interview Question – The unexpected thing which i was discussing is the technical guy asked me write query to find 2nd highest salary, without using more than one statement, i just use variable, he told it is multi statement query, so i replaced the variable with hard coded value, even he was not able to recognize the query, 2nd class grade and 3rd grade school English communication they have   Answer Question

I applied through other source and the process took 12 months - interviewed at Aptara in December 2009.

Interview Details – Received 1st call in Dec 20XX from HR executive from Pune office, setup an interview with some Delivery Head [who currently I believe works for one of Aptara's clients, go figure. Apparently no policy in place to stop employees from joining clients/vendors] Got rejected. Got another call in Dec' 20XX+1 "...we'd like to take your case forward" Setup another interview with another Delivery Head. Got selected. :)

PS - This form [Glassdoor form] does not accept recruitment process time span to be more than 365 - this proves that it is quite reasonable to laugh at the recruitment process at Aptara
