Interviewed Jan 2010 in Fremont, CA (took 2 days)
First is the phone interview, which is short. It consists of their interest in your resume and ask you if you want to come in for an in-person interview.
The in-person could be really long (maybe 3-4 hours) and that is only if they really like you. The HR manager interviews you first. If she likes you, she will inform the department you are applying for and maybe 2-3 people in that department will also interview you. The questions are not hard if you know what you are applying for. Depending on the position and whether or not the CEO is in the office, he may or may not want to also interview you.
Just keep in mind that they know what they are looking for before you even step into the room.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Fremont, CA (took a day)
my interview with this company ran from 10am until around 2:20pm. Nobody mentioned lunch break. I was hungry and tired, didn't feel well towards the end, no food then no energy. They should be more considerate in designing the interview process.
The staff accountant, tax manager, VP Finance I met seemed to be nice. However, the controller acted pretty bossy already and appreared to be quite cold-hearted during the interview. She was really proud of the potential IPO her company in such a HOT industry. The way she talked to me was pretty intimidating. I heard there will be a lot of overtime expected (of course no more pay). All departments, everybody within the company is very busy so that it will be very tough to get colaboration from others.
I don't like this bossy controller at all. Not a friendly person (can she be a good manager? probably not!) Good luck with her potential IPO in such a HOT industry!
