Interviewed May 2012 (took 4+ weeks)
I submitted my resume to Arup's Asia HR in general and got a phone call back for a specific office. It took about 3 weeks for my resume to circulate but after that the interview was set up in less than one week via Skype (common for Asia). After the interview an offer was made in about two weeks.

Interviewed May 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Interviewed with leader of the group and one of the members of the group I would be working with. They asked me typical interview questions of why I chose to study engineering, why I wanted to work there, etc.
There was nothing technical. The most technical questions they asked were if I was familiar with certain types of software.
The whole interview took maybe about an hour. The people and work culture seemed relatively young - a lot of people under 30.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 1+ week)
The initial communication between the company and myself was a bit slow, I was contacted for a phone interview approximately 3 months after my initial application. After this, they were a lot more interested in me personally and within the space of a week had a telephone interview along with a final round 1:1 interview. I did not get the position in the end due to a lack of commercial and financial experience (I come from an engineering background). The company is very friendly though, and a reputable place to start your career.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in New York, NY (took 4+ weeks)
The initial info session wasn't very helpful, as it basically reiterated what was presented on the website. The initial interview consisted of two tests - a spatial reasoning test and a written test. It was followed with a group interview. The follow-up interview was one-on-one.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
There was a spatial intelligence test and a written test for the first 30 minutes of the interview. The written test wasn't bad, a general civil engineering question (it will change depending on your degree) and then one on sustainability.
Following that was a 30 minute interview with an HR rep and a mechanical engineer. There was a set of questions they ask everyone they interviewed - I assume it's the same across the nation.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took a day)
I first took a hard spatial intelligence quiz. Then I interviewed with an engineer and HR rep. Neither of them introduced themselves at the beginning so it was a bit awkward and they had no sense of humor. The interview was mostly situational questions. I think they liked me more as the interview went along, but I didn't get the job,
