Customer Support Lead Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Ashland Distribution.
Interview Details – People are hired through panel interviews, all job postings both internal and external are done by applying through the company website. Customer Support Representatives were hired through a temporary agency, Innosource. There is a minimum four month trial period during which employees are technically working for Innosource instead of Ashland.
Interview Question – I once heard an applicant asked what they would want to remembered for contributing to the company. I thought this was a great question, and one that most people wouldn't expect to hear. View Answer

Sales Account Manager III Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Ashland Distribution in May 2010.
Interview Details – HR talks to you by phone. You then take a personality test. If you get by their recommendation then you have a panel interview with the Manger and other peers in the same career path. Best to have an employees referral to get past the initial HR phone interview. Panel interview is not a difficult interview as long as you know you stuff. The online test at the end catches you off guard. Be prepared to do a little math, spatial relations and word association.
