Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 1 week)
didn't find the interviewers that informative.
Due to it being commission based i believed that it did not have any structure and would benefit anyone who his trying to make money. The structure is to the gain of the company
Also the product is not that great.
Also customer service is not there first priority.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in North Brunswick, NJ (took a day)
Ashley Furniture was not as impressive as they could have been during the interview process. They did not seem very invested in their compensation plan, which transmitted a bad image to the person being interviewed. An interview process is always daunting and when a company is not interested in their own benefits, it does not make the prospective employee excited about their opportunities.

Reason for Declining
I was not impressed with the offer or the compensation. Employees are payed on a draw system and it did not appear the store was drawing much business.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Personality Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 2 weeks)
Had no problem getting an interview. Very professional. Asked for a personality test, handwriting analysis (which i thought was really thorough), background check in all the states i lived in, and a drug test. I thought i was applying for the FBI or something.
