Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chennai (India) (took 2 months)
The interview consisted of a preliminary computer-based test which was on basic technical skills on mechanical, automobile and electrical engineering. Then there was a panel interview that was on electrical engineering, basic IQ and personality. While the IQ and the personality tests were pretty simple and straight-forward, the technical interview goes deep and wide in your stream of engineering.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Chennai (India) (took a day)
It was the shortest interview process I have ever been into.(3 hours for complete process!)
Panel of 3 members came to our institute.
They had already shortlisted top 20 students.
They talked to all candidates for about 15 min and explained what company is about.(No powerpoint presentation)
Immediately after that they took MCQ exam.
Exam consisted following three sections
1.English
2.Mathematical Aptitude
3.General Aptitude
Mathematical aptitude was the toghest test. Majority of the students got filtered out in the exam.
7/20 cleared the exam.
Panel interviewed these candidates.Almost each interview lasted for about 5-7 minutes.
When I entered in the interview room, one member took my resume and started reading it.
Other two members started asking questions.
question1. Tell me about ur self?
question2. U are from different place, so will your parents allow you to work in Chennai?
question3. Tell us about ur masters project.?
I gave honest answers to all the questions.
After these question, member reading my resume write "Good" on it and showd it to other members.
Other members immediately stopped asking question and asked me to leave the room.
Result came after few minutes and they selected 3/7 candidates.
I was amoungst the selected candidates!

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Chennai (India) (took 5 days)
If you survived the initial phone interview, the next step is probably an in-person interview. Every company has their own way of conducting these interviews. Some prefer to have "panel-like" interviews, while others prefer one-to-one interviews. Expect to interview with three to four technical people (most likely the people you will end up working with) and maybe a group manager. The entire interviewing process can take anywhere between 2 to 6 hours. If the interview overlaps with lunch hours, the company will usually arrange for lunch. Expect a wide variety of questions that range from common personal questions to very challenging technical questions relevant to the job you are applying for. Remember that the whole point of this exercise is for the interviewers to determine if you have the skills to do the job you are interviewing for, and if you are someone they would like to work with.

Negotiation Details
Perhaps one of the toughest parts of the job-hunting experience -- and often one of the most important -- is the whole salary offer and salary negotiation phase. Job-seekers are often so focused on getting hired that they overlook what happens when the job offer is made. So, the key for job-seekers is preparation. Remember that your goal in job-hunting is not only to get the job, but to get the job with the best possible salary and benefits package possible.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.
