got the call through a staffing agency. It was followed by a discussion with the hiring manager. After that one round of phone interview, and one home work Q. After that I was asked to come onsite for 1:1. There were 5 of them with focus on data structures and C++ Qs.

C++ implementation of Dictionary without using any STL funtions. The functionalities in order of importance are as follows :
Inserting a word and its definition
Retrieving all words that start with a given prefix
Retrieving the definition of a given word
Deleting a word from the dictionary

Everything should be coded.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in San Carlos, CA (took 2 weeks)
My interview started off with a phone technical interview with the hiring manager. The questions were well round all design to find out how much you know database. After I pass the 1st phone technical, 2nd technical phone interview was followed. Then an onsite 1:1 interview was schedule. The onsite interviews consists of engineers ( QA and Development), managers (QA and Development). The questions with the engineers were non-trivial technical questions, all related to database.
