Very Difficult Interview
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Atmosphere Business Solution in May 2012.
Interview Details –
After applying with recruiter, I was contacted by a regional sales manager to schedule a phone interview. Prior to the phone interview I was asked to fill out a lengthy Career History Form. Phone interview consisted of questions about background and previous experience that would make me a good candidate for an outside sales position. The RSM shared that the job was $32k base + commission. The RSM then set up a 1:1 interview with the local DSM.
Prior to the in person interview, I was asked to fill out an Application for Employment. There were also many questions in a so called 'exam' which consisted of (3) parts: 1) Business Management, 2) Leadership Abilities, 3) Entrepreneurship. The 1:1 consisted of a timed math test and interview. After this interview, I was invited back to take a personality test and schedule a ride along with an Outside Sales/Acct. Exec. (1) week later I was asked if I was able to meet for another meeting GSM and HR Manager. I had free time the next day and that seemed to be a good time for us all. I was approached with a negotiation and acceptance folder and was ask to reply within (5) business days. I began work within (7) business days.
Negotiation Details – Very professional
Pros: Good work — life balance, great company to work for (1st) middle management position, average/typical benefits package, very possible (6) figure + annual income for hungry sales professionals – Full Review
