Interviewed Feb 2012 (took a day)
The interview process was quite simple; I was referred by a current employee, filled out the paper applications. I submitted a drug screening - for this I had to go down the road to a walk-in clinic where I waiting for what seemed a lifetime to pee in a cup (what a waste of an afternoon) and had to make several visits back to the company for 2-step ppd tests.I was interviewed by both the exec director and the resident services director and told I would be 'per diem' to start until 'we know it's a good fit', and only after being hired FT, would I have to wait 3 full calendar months to be eligible for full health benefits...
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
They weren't very willing to negotiate a higher pay; the pay is very low considering the work load and understaffing.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 3 days)
They were very thorough in most things; however, they did not check my references. I thought it was strange that I would be given a personality test but no one asked for references. The telephone interviews with the two corporate directors were very positive. I appreciated their time and feedback.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate; however, they offered MUCH less than what was discussed during the initial interview with the regional director. A proxy called to offer the job and I said I had already discussed a higher salary. I was told they could not go higher. Then, they called back and offered a higher amount, but still less than I first discussed. The proxy said that I would be eligible for bonuses; however, no bonuses would be offered until the following year (2013).. I should have paid attention to the red flag. The group interview, in the community, seemed "staged."

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took a day)
the interview was very crisp and fine. i was hired by a very nice lady who later was fired, most probably because they wanted a scapegoat for how poorly the community was being run. she gave me the run down of how things were supposed what i was to do after i accepted my offer such as, fitting for uniform, atria policy, etc.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 2 days)
Tell your story. That is the most important thing they are looking for. Also looking for people who listen and talk less. Listening skills are important as well as the presentation. Professional atmosphere and dress code.

Interviewed Mar 2009 (took 2 weeks)
The interview experience was very conflicting. The Regional described the position different from what the Executive Director explained it to be. Once you were on the job it was nothing like what was described to you during the interview process. Beaware that this position is for people who do not enjoy people interaction, however likes to build rapports on the phone all day long. Bothering people who are not interested in moving there. It is great for a person who is a great telemarketer. You will have to take a test prior to the interview process. Two phone interviews and one face to face with the Executive Director. Many CSD's do not make it pass the 90 day. Everyday you wondered if you will be let go due to census declines. Oh, you will allso have to travel to the home office for extensive training on how to communicate with seniors and their decision makers. This was the best part of the job. They also pay the highest in bonus. Very sales focused. Ask many questions before you decide on working for this company. See if it is a great fit for you. They track everything you say and do.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 months)
HR person contacted me via phone, took sevral phone calls to arrange the interview. I was scheduled for a second interview that was abruptly cancelled and was to be rescheduled. I had to call back several times to check on the date of the second interview. The HR person did not call me back. I called once more and was told that another person was offered the job.
