Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 4+ weeks)
I got the first interview in a career fair at my school. After that first interview they took a while (about three weeks) to contact me again for a phone interview. Then they simply forgot about my phone interview, it was me who remind them about the appointment after I waited for half an hour for the phone call. Later, after the phone interview they took two more weeks to contact me for a 1-1 interview; this one tool place in the middle of last December. During this interview I did an exam of problems on computing and logic skills, pretty easy.
It has been one month since that interview and I have not heard back from them, I guess this time I could not make it. There was one thing that I found strange for the last interview: I had to sign a confidentiality agreement (you usually sign this until you get an offer).

Interviewed Jun 2007 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
I was contacted by a headhunter who worked with Autonomy regularly. Over the next week I had two phone interviews with two technical managers. They asked basic - medium difficulty technical questions. One thing that struck me as odd was that they asked if I were at a client site on their laptop and I wanted to work on their server- how would I do it. I said on Windows I would RDP (Remote Desktop) in and on Linux I would telnet in. This seemed overly-simplistic to me, but they asked it. Then there was a one-on-one interview in person with the technical manager. Then after that, someone in the position I was applying for gave me a printed test, Mainly code fragments and asked me what thecode did. It was jsp, which I was unfamiliar with at the time, but if you can read one language you can read most languages. It was pretty painless, but then again I was fairly technically-capable.
