Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 4 weeks)
I applied online and got a call back from their recruiter who explained the hiring process to me. The process included 1 phone screen, 2 technical phone interviews, 1 personality assessment (also phone), and 1 face to face with another manager.
Overall, the interview process was very intense and not for the unprepared. you should be prepared to discuss all things related to business analyst work. brush up on technical skills especially methodologies for accomplishing BA activities.

Pay was not competitive. Overall, I really liked Avanade but their pay was definitely way too low.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took a day)
Interviewed by Business analysts within the company who know the rigors of being on the road 5 out of 7 days of the week and try to explain to you that it's not all expense accounts and sweet hotel rooms. Interview questions were pretty standard. I was disappointed with the time management of the interviewers. I was 1 of 2 candidates being interviewed and I was cut short since myself and the other candidate got interviewed by two people and the other interviewer took too long with the other candidate, causing them to rush my 2nd interview.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 2 months)
I first applied to Avanade via online resume drop (aka a black hole with most employers). I was lucky because some corporate recruiter thought that I was somehow connected in the IT industry, so he got in touch in November 2011 asking me if I knew anyone who might be interested in a job with Avanade. I told him I didn't and explained my situation (a couple years out of college, but still looking for my first full-time job). He immediately referred me to a recruiter (Lisa), with whom I dealt for the rest of my recruiting process.
I first set up a phone interview/screening with Lisa, and after a couple reschedulings, we had it and she was impressed so she moved me on. At that point we discussed which service line I'd like to be a part of, and we decided on CRM. She then arranged a technical phone interview with a director in the CRM service line, which I finally had after a couple reschedulings as well. This interview did not end up being technical at all,l but this guy was impressed with me, and told Lisa so. (Each time I spoke with Lisa after an interview, she always liked to ask how I thought the interview went before telling me the feedback; maybe she only does this when feedback is positive.) In December, Lisa talked to me about setting up an in-person interview with a director, but I was travelling, and then the interviewer's schedule changed, so that never happened. In January, Lisa got in touch and told me that CRM no longer had any open positions, but they were interested in moving me along with another service line. We discussed, and agreed on BI. She then set up another technical interview with a director. When I actually had the call, it ended up not being with the person I expected, but no big deal. This interview was, indeed, a bit technical, but nothing crazy. He just asked me questions about how I would deal with different situations that a BA might encounter. He moved me along, and Lisa asked me to come into the Chicago office for a final round interview on a Friday.
On the interview day, I realized that I was interviewing for a recent-grad program, but no big deal. I was with about 10 other candidates. They put us in a conference room with some breakfast and some current Avanade employees (somewhat recent hires). Then they gave us a presentation, and then we had about 4 hours in which each person had two half-hour interviews, and the rest was down time to talk to the current employees, and also work on a low-pressure writing assignment (something like "why is Avanade a good fit for your career"). Then we had lunch and an HR presentation. This was followed by a low-key group activity in which they observed how we worked. I won't tell you what exactly the activity was, but it was pretty fun, and not hard.
By that time, I had received a competing offer from another company, and I told my recruiter about it. She must have really hurried the decision process because by the following Wednesday, I had an offer. She asked for my answer by the next day. I asked for the weekend, but the most she could give me was Friday (because of an upcoming start-date and the paperwork that had to be processed in time). It was a hard decision process, and Avanade was extremely appealing, but I decided to decline the offer and the accept the competing offer. I will definitely keep Avanade in mind as my career progresses. Lisa (my recruiter) was extremely professional and very nice, and gave me an overall great experience with the company.

Reason for Declining
I had an offer from another company, and, while the position offered less learning and growth opportunity than the position with Avanade, I chose it because it also offered much better work/life balance (eg. no travel, decent and flexible hours, etc.) and pay was comparable. It was a very difficult decision though. If anyone is ever faced with the decision between two jobs, just remember that there's no wrong choice.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Phone Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I was pre-screened by a recruiter in the Atlanta office who was extremely friendly, as well as helpful in providing tips to improve my interview skills. She guided me toward the appropriate group that matched my skill set and passed me through to the next round, providing valuable information as to the person who would be interviewing me. The second round interview was the complete opposite. The person interviewing me was in Utah and would not be working in ay meaningful capacity with me. She was very short and seems to have written me off before the interview began. The questions were rapid fire, with no feedback provided or discussion afterwards. I was not surprised to get my rejection the next morning. For an entry-level job, they seemed to expect knowledge of the inner workings of their company.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 1 week)
Saw posting on university career website and applied online, was contacted by email a couple weeks after to set up a phone interview. Interviewer called late for first scheduled time and had to reschedule for later that day. Asked mainly about what you know about Avanade and what your dream job is and how Avanade fits in with that. Also made sure you are ok with minimum 80% travel. It got extremely awkward when the interviewer asked what my desired salary is... I said average with my background is 67k and she was extremely inflexible and said they would only pay 50-60k. Set a bad tone for the rest of the interview and received an email the next day saying they wouldn't be moving on with the process.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Houston, TX (took 4+ weeks)
I interviewed with 3 different people via phone and then a one-on-one with a Regional Manager. An initial phone interview (non-technical) and then two technical interviews with two different technical people. I did well on the phone interviews and when I had a teleconference call with the Regional Manager for about an hour, I felt that he was expecting someone younger and I received an email indicating that it may take several months before an appropriate position was available and that they would keep in touch. I never heard from them again.
I saw the same position posted the next day again. They also use a background company that asks questions that would definitely indicate your age (such as date of college graduation, date of birth, etc.) which I don't answer prior to an offer since a company might have a propensity to discriminate against certain protected classes. I suspect that they might be one of these types of companies.

Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 6 weeks)
This was a 5 step interview. First interview was with the HR asking me general questions to see if I'm the right fit for the position and to make sure I know the position involves over 80% traveling. After that, HR assistant contacted me through email asking about my availability and scheduled the 2nd phone interview with a Senior Business Analyst. This interview was more detailed and specific to steps of the processes and methods used in each step. Questions were something like "what methods you used to collect requirements?" and "how you communicated with project stakeholders, especially in a global setting?"
Each interview was right about one hour. After each the HR assistant emailed me to see what my availability was for the next interview. The 3rd interview was with a director. He continued on skill assessment questions similar to the last interview, but with a lot more details. He wanted to know exactly what I did and in what sequence and what steps I took and what methods I used for each. Some questions were asked in different ways to the point I'm assuming my patience and character were being tested. Probably wanted to see how I would react in stressful situations or how I'd deal with "difficult" people. The fourth interview was a face-to-face interivew at local office and included situation and behavior questions. And the last interview was a half-hour phone call with an executive as a final check on being the right candidate for the job.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 4+ weeks)
I first received a generated email alerting me that my resume fit a position that just opened. I applied and the following day I received a phone call from a HR rep. The call was basically to understand my level of interest and if I was aware of the amount of travel that was required for this job. The next step was a phone skills interview with a BA (my guess was she was on the bench) that asked me some behavioral questions along some BA questions. This was followed by "skills 2" phone interview with a manager and again it was similar to the first skills interview. The final interview was a face to face with a director that asked me behavioral questions along with one problem to solve.
