Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 3 days)
First communication is with a recruiter, who isn't a consultant and repeats the verbiage from the website. Second, comes a tech interview that is SUPER SIMPLE (anyone past their first year of CS classes could probably pass it, but experience with .Net or databases will ensure it. Experience with Gang of Four design patterns looks excellent too). If you're a college hire, you usually do not get a second tech interview (because they will send you to a month of .Net training anyhow), but if not, you often will. Next comes a pretty standard behavioral interview where they hope to see professionalism and passion for technology. Finally there is a confirming interview with a higher-up that is just a crazy-check. If you are a person who might not have consulting experience, Avanade also gives a "selling interview" that isn't posed to the candidate that way; the candidate THINKS they are being judged, but really the interviewer spends most of the time talking up how great Avanade is.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Dallas, TX (took 4+ weeks)
The interview process started with a quick phone screening and then a couple of phone interviews. They asked average interview questions and got into some technical questions later in the process. The process was typical and the HR people were mostly nice and helpful with the interview. The one complaint was during my process I had scheduled an interview weeks before and the HR person sent me an e-mail the day before my scheduled interview asking me to sign up again which led to a little bit of confusion

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 3 weeks)
1st call was from senior recruiter who was great to talk to you. He just asked about the basic information.
he mentioned that another recruiter will get in touch with me.
Next week i had an email from this 2nd recruiter who was checking my availability from a initial phone screen for technical skills.
I got the interview call from one of the consultant at Avanade, the interview went very well with him. He asked me a lead or senior Business Analysis level questions. But i felt very positive after talking to him.
After 2 days i again got an email from the 2nd recruiter asking my availability for 2nd phone interview.
I was scheduled for the next phone interview and got a call from Business Analysis - Manager at Avanade. The questions he asked very completely different than the previous interview questions. I got confuse at that point of time for the position they are interviewing me for.
i got a feel that i have 50-50 chance to be selected for the next interview.
However at the end he mentioned me that i did well and recruiter will be soon in touch with me.
After that, recruiter never wrote to me or called me. I wrote her but there was no response. So i guess my bad luck.

Interviewed Feb 2008 in Vancouver, BC (Canada) (took 12 months)
3 times interview. The first two are technical interviews which were very hard. The third time is easy one because they already know how good you are.
