Interviewed Apr 2012 in Houston, TX (took 3 weeks)
As for the interview process it was 2 phone interviews and then taken to office for 1:1 interview where they were looking at the personality.
The first phone interview was a basic phone interview.
The second phone interview was a technical interview which one should be prepared for. It went over things from software engineering design, database and Microsoft technology. It takes around 1 hour to complete. If someone payed attention and study in school they should not have an issue there. Just make sure you brush up on stuff before the interview.
The communication on how things where going and keep me informed was by far the best I have ever seen. They would call me back and tell me how I did at every step, telling me what I did great on and weak on.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I had 2 offers. It was a hard choice but I choose the company that did not require travel and I could leverage both my degrees in.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
I replied to a posting on a job board and got a call from Avanade's HR the next day. I talked with HR a couple of times, had 2 phone screens, followed by 1 face-to-face interview. Everyone was professional, nice, and could answer my questions. All in all it was very efficient. I like the fact that they send candidates a survey in connection with their recruiting experience. I got that survey prior to an offer.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Houston, TX (took 1+ week)
Their recruiter called me and did an initial interview. It went well. They did not mind that I did not have Microsoft Dynamix CRM. They still wanted to talk further. Had a follow up phone interview with a person at a high level. It went well. Was told that the next step will be a face to face interface. The recruiter was very helpful in preparing me for the 2nd level interview. Am waiting for next steps.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took 4 weeks)
Applied online, networked with on-campus presenter, gave her my resume as well. She forwarded it on, was contacted by the recruiter the next week via email for an initial interview. Basic questions about personality, whether or not you knew what Avanade did, its relationship with its parent company and so on.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Houston, TX (took 1 week)
Avanade contacted me about a position as a project manager. I told the internal recruiter I was not a good match because I have no experience on the Microsoft Platform. She said they wanted to speak to me because I have the SDLC experience they wanted. Next phone interview went great, had a really good feeling. Second phone interviewer never called me, so I called the recruiter and she said the interviewer reported that I said I didn't want to interview and that he was very upset, and was high in the company and this was not good for me. I told her my phone never rang, he must have dialed the wrong number. He evidently did not want to admit he dialed the wrong number and refused to speak with me again. Another interviewer called me the next day, equally high on the org chart - and we had a great discussion. I was told later that day they decided to pass on me because I did not have specific Microsoft experience. I told him, "you mean what I told you in the beginning?" and he replied, "Yes, and I even see here in the notes where you told them you did not feel you were a good match". Between the disconnect between recruiters and the one guy who threw a temper tantrum at being discovered that he dialed the wrong number - this company scared the hell out of me. If they can't get the interview process right, what else are they messed up on? When they told me they would not be advancing, I was actually relieved, However, I will give them good marks for communicating at the end of the process, it certainly wasn't the latter interviewers, it was the initial screener.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Houston, TX (took 4+ weeks)
I interviewed with 3 different people via phone and then a one-on-one with a Regional Manager. An initial phone interview (non-technical) and then two technical interviews with two different technical people. I did well on the phone interviews and when I had a teleconference call with the Regional Manager for about an hour, I felt that he was expecting someone younger and I received an email indicating that it may take several months before an appropriate position was available and that they would keep in touch. I never heard from them again.
I saw the same position posted the next day again. They also use a background company that asks questions that would definitely indicate your age (such as date of college graduation, date of birth, etc.) which I don't answer prior to an offer since a company might have a propensity to discriminate against certain protected classes. I suspect that they might be one of these types of companies.

Interviewed Oct 2008 in Houston, TX (took 2 weeks)
The process started with a phone screen with a recruiter with some questions about myself and a few technical questions. Expectations (position, responsibility, compensation, etc) were set before moving forward to the next step. It took two more technical skills tests that lasted about an hour over the phone and an in-person interview with the hiring manager. I was given a verbal offer on the spot and an offer letter in a couple days.

Negotiation Details
There isn't much to negotiate. The salary range was set per position and the best way to get a better pay is to do better on initial phone call with the recruiter.
