Interview Question – They had you review data in a manner similar to how you would in the position, though they helped you through it. They didn't expect you to have it perfected, but enough general knowledge to work your way through it. Answer Question
Very Easy Interview
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Avis Budget in August 2012.
Interview Details – Was referred by a friend. Phone interview with HR was really easy. She asked very basic interview questions just to get to know you. Got called back the next day for an office interview with the hiring manager. Interview was really easy again with basic interview questions such as strengths and weaknesses. Got an offer the next week and accepted it.
Interview Question – There was no difficult or unexpected questions. One of the easiest interviews I've been on. View Answer
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Avis Budget in July 2012.
Interview Details – Phone interview,. invited in to be interviewed by hiring manager, director, VP. I have to say I am very disgusted with the lack of professionalism displayed by this company. HR has no idea what they are doing and sent me a very OBVIOUS email template for my interview schedule and messed up ALL the names of the individuals I would be meeting with. When the hiring manager finally came down to me he was clearly embarrassed and annoyed with the rep. I was told to give my resume to reception, who said no that goes to HR, the hiring manager ended up taking it. God knows if it ever made it to the right location. The interview themselves seemed very rushed, the questions were standard. I was shuffled between three people. I did an excellent job however, after three follow up attempts NO ONE ever responded to me. Even if they came back with an offer A MONTH LATER I would turn them down based on how unprofessional, unorganized and the lack of respect on their end.
The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Avis Budget in December 2011.

The process took 2 days - interviewed at Avis Budget in May 2011.
Interview Details – I was initially contacted by HR as a standard phone screen just to get to know me a little bit better and such. Through HR, I set up another phone interview with someone within the department and group that I was going to be working with. A day later, I was contacted by the manager of that department for the phone interview. She asked the standard interview questions; it wasn't very difficult. The interviewer was very enthusiastic and kind so I felt very comfortable. I should have been brought in for an in-person interview as well but I was in the middle of exams at the time and they were understanding enough to know that it would have been difficult for me to come in. The very next week, HR called me again to let me know that they were extending me an offer.
