Was contacted through e-mail by recruiter after appying online and schedule an interview. I was interviewed in the rockville office by a manager and the person that I would be mentored by if I were to get the job. Interview was mostly a few general questions and the bulk of the questions stemmed from my resume.

First round consisted of 2 on 1 conference call mainly about fit. Second round was in office for 2 different 2 on 1 fit interviews and one case presentation in front of the four diffefrent people you did the fit with.

Initially got contacted by hiring manager 1 week after he received my resume from an employee referral. The 15-minute phone prescreen asked very generic questions and I did not feel as if I was receiving the attention of a staff who should have been serious about my qualifications. After setting up an appointment to meet at 10am the next day was escorted into the building and waited with two other candidates to interview for the position. The program manager was very brief and asked fewer and less specific questions than I expected. Reported to HR after interview for followup. While the brevity of the interview itself made me believe that they had already selected someone I received an offer six days later.

I got a phone call from the hiring manager a couple of days after I sent him my resume. He was very pleasant, asked some general questions then informed me that HR would contact me soon to schedule an interview. HR contacted me some days later. They reserved a room for me at a nearby hotel since I was driving from out of state. I met with HR in one building where the lady who contacted me gave me company brochures, information on benefits, etc. She then directed me to the main interview building a couple of blocks down the street. I met with the hiring manager, project manager, and director of engineering. They were all very respectful and the interview was painless. They took me on a tour of the building where they showed me several projects they were working on and introduced me to a couple of younger engineers. One of the younger engineers (I think he would have been my team leader had I accepted the offer) talked to me about things I know and things I don't, what the environment is like, how teams cooperate, etc. It was a great day -- which says a lot b/c most interviews are exhausting and generally dreadful! The hiring manager contacted me over the weekend via email and informed me that they were interested and that HR would contact me soon with an offer, and so they did.

I declined the offer for personal reasons, but the salary wasn't especially impressive anyway. Also, something to note is that once they made the offer they did not budge, no negotiation.

I got called to their office and had an interview with 3 engineers who seemed to like me and were helping me with what kind of questions I may be asked for a second interview with FAA. Second Interview went well I thought but never got a call back, after 3 weeks of calling spmepne finally said that the position had been filled from within.

Phone interviewer seemed to have not time for his job. He rescheduled the interview 3 times, once with just 10 minutes to the previously scheduled time. Their web site stated they usually do behavior based interviews, so thats is what i prepared for. However, it was a very traditional interiew (strengthes/weaknesses etc)
