Interview Details – Walked in to the store and they were in need of help. I gave them my information and had a quick interview with the Floor Supervisor. I had a lot of background retail experience and presented my resume, so I was hired almost immediately. They ran a background check and contacted my references within the same day. I was hired and began working almost immediately. It was a very smooth process.

They just string you along. Horrible horrible horrible.
They offered me an entry- level salary when I have many years of experience in the industry. They offer the lowest salary possible.. ridiculous.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Vernon, CA May 2011 – Reviewed May 18, 2011
Interview Details – I was initially contacted by e-mail and approved through the HR Screening process. I was scheduled 2 weeks later and they cancelled on me 2 hours prior to the interview. I followed up and they advised that they would reschedule for a Thursday at 2pm, but never gave me a confirmation. I called and e-mailed to follow up and they contacted me the following week (past the scheduled date) to advise that the hiring manager was out of town. The next week, they asked for my availability. I never received a confirmation and suddenly they called me to ask why I didn't show up for the interview. They never confirmed a date nor time. Reluctantly, I ended up meeting with the hiring manger and he asked a lot of questions like, "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?"

Just a quick update on a previous review I posted - it's now at least 8-10 weeks since my on-site visit to the BCBG offices and they have still not reimbursed me for my travel expenses. I have called, emailed on several occasions but have gotten no so much as a reply.
Not only do they not pay for your meals during the trip, they don't even have the courtesy to repay you for the one's they do say they will pay for.
Seriously!? Run don't walk away from these folks. Unprofessional from start to finish.

No Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Nov 2010 – Reviewed Nov 16, 2010
Interview Details – I applied online and got a call back right away. We set up a interview for the following day. Met with the store manager who was really nice. She asked the usual questions like tell me about yourself, where do you shop, what do you know about our company etc...I was asked to come back for the second interview which was basically to see how I worked on the floor. I went back the following week and worked on the floor for about an hour. The store was pretty slow that day and no one came in to shop, only to browse. I was told that they would get in contact with me the following week because the manager was going away for the weekend and she needed to meet with her boss. Needless to say I didn't get a call back. The sales associates at that location seemed really laid back and cool but that location just seemed like it was too slow for me so I'm not disappointed.
