Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at BE Aerospace (Winston-Salem, NC) in May 2011.

Email with HR to set up a phone interview

Phone interview with Plant Mgr/VP and current OP X Director who was moving on to another role
All questions were specific to continuous improvement - almost like test questions - and they were looking for specific answers

The plant VP was British and very direct and almost insulting - I got a bad vib from him and did not think I passed the interview but I got a email the next day stating they wanted me in for a site interview

Site interview started wtih a1 hr Panel: HR mgr, Sourcing mgr and finance, - HR had 20 specific questions he needed answers for, Sourcing and finance asked about my dealings with their functions.

Next 1 hr pannel was with HR and current CI director - same as above but we went to lunch during the interview -

Next interview was with Other business unit managers and engineering - and their questions were about dealing with people - getting them to do what they asked

NOTE: this is a union environment and they seemed to be struggling with that - and they all seemed over worked unhappy.

Final interview with the VP of Mfg: we toured the plant and he told me I was the 15th person he had interviewed for the position (wow), specific questions about my resume and how I did what I claimed I did were his focus.

At this point I did not want the job
